  2. Congrats! You look amazing!!
  3. OMG! I have had problems with this also. I am 10 weeks post-op and I have to take Dulcolax every other day or so. Nothing else works. It's very frustrating. I never had this problem before. This has been my only downside.
  4. I am very excited!! Tomorrow is my day. I am worried about the anesthesia. I ALWAYS get sick after surgery. Not looking forward to that.
  5. @@daybyday I also have Fibromyalgia. How did the surgery help it? I am scheduled for June 10th. I know it won't make my Fibro go away but I am curious if it helps the pain?
  6. You look amazing!! Keep up the great work.
  7. Congrats! You look amazing. You should never let anyone define who you are but yourself! If they aren't supportive, they don't need to be in your life. Only surround yourself with positive people. You look awesome! Show yourself off!
  8. What did it taste like? Did you mix anything in? Add anything to it? Make it a smoothie?
  9. I am booked for the10th! I can't wait!! My surgeon doesn't require a liquid diet, just that I don't gain any weight before surgery. I had my first Protein shake this morning. It wasn't too bad. I got it down no problem. I have my pre-open June 4th.
  10. I just tried my first protein shake. It wasn't so bad. I was able to get it down
  11. I just got my date.....June 10th. So excited!!!
  12. I got my surgery date......June 10th. I am so excited!!!
  13. You look amazing!! Good for you.
  14. UC Davis has been wonderful!!! I had Kaiser for about 4 years and changed to Davis last year. Kaiser was horrible with my Fibromyalgia. They wouldn't even talk to me about WLS but Davis was great about it.
  15. That's awesome! I am glad we are all close.
  16. HelenaMarie83 didn't you say you were from Sacramento? I am also. My surgery is through UC Davis.
  17. Please add me also if any of you would like - my name is under dcostella. My surgery date is the week of June 9th. I don't know the exact date yet. Also, does anyone know how to print your daily logs from My Fitness Pal?
  18. I really love hearing everyone's stories. I have just started my journey but they are fast tracking me and I am supposed to have surgery the week of June 9th as long as everything comes out OK. I have been thinking of doing this for the last 6 months and have researched the heck out of all of it. I originally also thought I wanted to do the sleeve but when I met with the surgeon he wants me to do the bypass because it has a better success rate. Nancy E. I also have Fibromyalgia. I know it won't completely get rid of it, I just hope this helps with my joints and other issues. I also am on heart medicine, have high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I am hoping this helps with everything. I am very excited and I can't wait to have my surgery. I KNOW I will succeed and do what I need to do to get better. This site is wonderful to talk to everyone! All the support helps.
  19. That is awesome. Everyone on here is an inspiration to me. I hope I do this well.
  20. You look amazing. Keep up the great work.

  22. I think you look great. I hope to loose that much when I have my surgery in two months. Keep up the good work.
