My diet plan as per my nutritionist is to drink one glass of ensure a day. Did any of you get this?? I'm just concerned whether it's sweet or too many carbs for me??

Got sleeved on 14th June.. Weight 70 kgs and started liquids from 15th and today the 19th I weigh 75.9... It's amaZing. Finally seems to be worth all the trouble. Hope I keep losing like this. Also, since it's only been five days my incisions don't hurt except one where they took the stomach out from.. Gross. Yesterday that cut was oozing pink stuff out I got scared and called my doc and he said chill this is normal just put some gauz and paper tape on it. I told my mom and she freaked out and she said no let's go show it to him now which we did and he cleaned it up and put a new band aid on it and told me to change the band aid after showering every time. This morning I see pink stuff again.. Did anyone experience this?

That's cool guys... I'm craving potatoes and rice... Chips/fries haha. But can we have like two three chips after two months of the diet?

Had my surgery on Saturday 14th June the first two days didn't think about food at all. Now that I am home I am thinking and can't wait for these liquid and soft puréed food to be over so I can eat normally. But if before the surgery I was doing a diet I would break it and eat. at least the surgery is not letting me do that! Currently am on just liquids and don't get hungry but just crave what ppl around me are eating... Is that happening with anyone else?

Feeling so uncomf. Three days post op and unable to find a good position to sit or sleep in. Also haven't passed stool yet.... Is that normal...

Am only three days post op got discharged from the hospital today... Am still uncomfortable in the surgery area but walking around is better. My only prob is the coughing as when I cough my stomach hurts and in scared something inside will burst like a stitch or something... What can I do to prevent it? I'm getting v scared...

Two days out of surgery and I feel like crap... Will it get better? Cuz I'm already regretting. My stomach hurts like a bitch and I've been coughing so hurts even more!

What did u eat before pre op and first week after surgery? how do you take your vitamins after the surgery if it has to be just liquids?? Would love to know details... and thanks once again... i'm looking forward to the month after the surgery.... i just don't want to gain it back again.. EVER...

Thanks everyone!! What all can i drink on my liquid diet? and after surgery can i have whey Protein shake in chocolate flavour. its low on carbs but i dont know how bad is the sugar for me... I'm so confused and uneasy. Tomorrow i will just have Breakfast Cereal and milk and clear Soup all day. Same for Fri. and Sat early morning surgery. BUTTERFLIES IN MY TUMMMMYYYY SOON TUMMY WILL BE SMALL SO NO BUTTERFLIES hahahaha

i am 26 years old and my BMI is 31.5 or 32... my weight is 80 kgs. I have been losing and gaining all my life and i'm getting married in dec so i want to lose all of my weight. but im scared what if this doesnt work either? and how bad is the surgery? what will happen? I have read so many blogs and views and researched so much and most people have had positive results but i'm just feeling uneasy right now. sure lets compare notes!!! and lets help each other how do i talk to you online??

my surgery is in two days. i go on liquid and v balanced foods from tomorrow. how are we sure that this will work? what if this fails also like all the other diets and exercise regimes??? what if i cant stop myself from eating???? how does the hunger stop??? i'm so worried.

On Friday morning is my surgery. I am so scared. I need some words of encouragement. As i am getting scared that something will happen although i'm hoping and praying. I hope theres not a lot of pain and no complications and i'm able to cope with the new diet.

I got my CBC blood count test and my haemoglobin is 11.0 and normal ratio is 11.1 to 14.5 is that a problem???? In the CBC profile my m.c.v is 73.7 and normal is 76 to 96 and my m.c.h is 23.2 and normal is 26 to 32. I have already been given my surgery dates and I mean what's less isn't a lot, can I still get surgery done?????

My surgery will be sometime in June but I am getting so scared. Can someone pump me up for it? Like I'm scared about something going terribly wrong in surgery or dying or leak. Who all have gotten it done and were completely successful?? Am getting so scared

Thank you The diet that they have given me is not liquid it's balanced meals low carb. After two weeks they run my tests and then will give me a date... Hope my parents don't change their minds till then! Good luck with your surgery. Be safe and careful
