  1. Hi. I got banded a little over 2 months and I'm at 180 although it's been a slow weightloss I'm really happy with it. Hang in there. I think for people who have less to loose the weightloss is slower
  2. How's it going? Did you get banded? I got banded in May at 191 and I'm down to 180 and I'm happy. I finally feel like a "normal" person when I eat. I eat whatever I want but in smaller portions and I don't feel deprived 1 bit.
  3. I'm glad I'm not the only one who forgot
  4. You look great! I'm loosing a lot slower but it's ok.
  5. My bottle of water at work has a straw and after I went back to work I started using it and started getting gas pains again so I stopped and it helped with the gas pains
  6. Betty, I'm doing 20-30 min of cardio (elliptical) and 20-30 min of weights. What do you think I should be doing?
  7. Thank you Chrissy! I did take my measurements the day of of surgery and again this morning so I can keep track of my inches lost which is what's really important.
  8. Hi! I'm trying to be really optimistic here. I had my 1st fill last Thursday and I started going to the gym on Sunday and instead of loosing weight I'm gaining weight!! I had my surgery 05/08/14 and I've been loosing steadily about 1 or 1 1/2 lbs per week and I was happy with that. This week I've gained 2 lbs!!! I assumed I would continue to loose weight, specially because I started working out.
  9. You look amazing. What an inspiration!!
  10. My dr said that's were my port is. I get sharp pains there
  11. I received my 1st fill yesterday of only 2.6C but it's OK. I will not get another fill until 8 weeks because I go on vacation and he doesn't want me to get a fill right before I leave My NSV is that my boss told me he can tell I'm loosing weight (he doesn't know I got WLS) AND I can start seeing collar BONES!!!! I'm so happy about my bones starting to show up
  12. I still have pain on my port area if I bend over or do something the wrong way. Sorry I'm no help
  13. Thank you!! Since my dr is in the city, I was thinking of going to lunch with my kids before but I'll make it breakfast
  14. I'm getting my 1st fill on Thursday. Is it safe to eat right before my appointment?
  15. I'm doing good. I go for my 1st fill on Thursday.
  16. I've been drinking a tea every night to help me and it doesn't bother me at all. I have never been "regular" so I've been drinking it for a while
  17. I have not gotten a fill. I'm scheduled for June 19 and I'm nervous about that
  18. I had my lap band surgery 1 month ago today. I'm still not to my 100% self but I think it's because I'm always pushing myself. I feel discomfort where my port is. Honestly I was scared to have the surgery. Although I've lost 8lbs since surgery I'm happy with that pace. I know this time the weight loss is permanent unlike all the dozens of times I didn't really see the difference until I took these pics this morning.
  19. The 2's are gone forever
  20. Hey buddy!! I'm glad you're doing great. Weightloss has stalled for me a bit but it's ok. I don't get my 1st fill for another 2 weeks. Your fiancé stuck around because he knows your value as a Human being and on top of that your gorgeous!!
  21. I can Definately tell the difference
  22. Thank you Betty!! Now I know it's normal to feel discomfort when I bend and lie down. I'm thinking I will start the gym on Monday. I finally saw a good jump on my weightloss this morning so I'm really happy!!
  23. Thank you! My dr said I might have irritated the muscle where the port it stitched to
  24. I had surgery almost 4 weeks ago and I'm still having periodic sharp pains near my port area. I went to my post op appointment 2 weeks ago and my surgeon said it was normal but its been 2 weeks and I still feel it. It hurts when I bend over and/or at night when I'm laying down. How long will this last. The only working out I'm doing right now is walking for that same reason.
  25. I was banded 05/08/14 and I'm going through the same thing
