  1. Thanks!!

    I've lost 75 pounds overall.

My diet plan has gone from straight lap-band essentials to pretty much whatever I want to eat - in moderation. the band keeps the meals small, which is great! :)

My training plan has graduated from elleptical and weights to triathlon specific training. I did my first 5k last May, and this May I'm doing a 1/2 Ironman. The key is not increasing training volume more than 10% in any one week and taking every 4-5th week easy as a recovery week. This keeps you from getting burnt out. I exercise every day, even if it is just an easy 30 minute bike swim or run. No need to go "all out" in every work out. Slow and steady keeps you healthy. Now, there is the need to sometimes go all out to improve, but again in moderation.
