Post Op June 2014 Sleevers
This is true! I'm at a number I was at for awhile. Maybe that's the reason! Your body does tend to stay at certain numbers! Hopefully it will find a lower number soon that my body's comfy with! Just frustrating not moving. I've been stuck at the same weight for a week now. Only 2 weeks out.

Not losing
I was sleeved June 9. I lost 10 lbs the first week. This week, I've lost nothing, I'm actually up about half pound. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm on the mushy phase, Which has consisted of tuna, cottage cheese, yogurt, ground chicken, about 2 oz. per meal, I take in about 700/800 calories per day. And I jog 3 times week, only about 3/4 mile. I still drink my two protein drinks a day too.

Post Op June 2014 Sleevers
I was sleeved jun9 too. I have not had many issues, all went smoothly, and I feel great. I'm down ten pounds since surgery, but the scale hasn't moved since Sunday , am I weighing in too often? It's frustrating not seeing the scale move! Last night I made my family a big salad, without a thought I grabbed a lettuce leaf and ate it out of the bowl, huge mistake! It felt stuck and eventually had to throw up. Ugh.

June 2014 Sleevers Check In!
I felt the same way, I wanted the sleeve so badly, then after surgery, I had some big regrets. For the next 2 days, I was in pain, I felt like I was hit by a truck, I couldn't imagine why I did this to myself, intentionally! Day 3 I started feeling much better. Now I'm 10 days out, and I am so happy with my choice. I feel great. I started jogging, and I'm eating right. Down 10 pounds since surgery. It will get better! Right now is the hardest stage. I hope you feel better real soon!

June 2014 Sleevers Check In!
I wish I had done it sooner too, June 9 for me! It's amazing I come home from work, by habit, I hit the kitchen for a snack, now it's a spoon of cottage cheese, and I'm good. Before it was crackers, hummus, cheese, bread, olives. And wine! So many calories, which in turn made me get this big, I love my sleeve!

8 weeks out!
Lots of people talk about the dreaded three week stall. Sounds like some of you maybe experiencing. I haven't got there yet, only 9 days out. But I've read about it on here, around 3 weeks post op lots of people reach a stall in the weight loss. I don't know why...

June 9th Sleeve - Looking for friends!
I tried the retried beans the other night. I measured out two ounces, I was so so full, buffet full. Just be careful, go slow. For me I wish I didn't finish the whole two ounces! Cottage cheese and scrambled eggs are best for me sleeve to tolerate as of now.

Thank you! After taking a dulcolax a few hours ago, I'm all good. Unfortunately I didn't know that laxatives were a no no. Not in my paperwork. But thanks, I will have to buy the co lace.

June 9th Sleeve - Looking for friends!
Hi fellow June niners, ok so this is a little more info than some May want to read, so just a caution, I haven't gone to the bathroom since June 7. I'm in pain, I'm afraid to strain myself too much because I'm seriously scared that I will put too much pressure on my new belly, and that my incision will burst open! I know that it probably won't happen, but I really don't know, too much straining can't be a good idea! Ugh, of course it's Saturday and no doctors office is open right now. Do you think it's ok?

VSG weight loss expectations
We're pretty close weight wise, I was 226 preop surgery date 217 which was June 9 and now 211. So 15 pounds down. I think in our weight range 25- 30 pounds is likely in 3 months maybe more we are already down 15! But we're all different! Good luck!

Post Op June 2014 Sleevers
I am allowed to have refried beans during the mushy food phase. I was very excited about this today. I measured out 2 oz. and sat with my family for a lovely dinner. It was so tasty that I should've known better but I forced myself to finish that 2 oz bowl of refried beans - omg, I ate them about 2 hours ago and still feel as if I ate thanksgiving feast! I guess we live and learn with our new sleeves!

No need to worry about that! You won't have much choice. You will feel full after a couple sips of water or tea.

June 9th Sleeve - Looking for friends!
I only had to do clear liquids for the first three days. I'm now on protein as well . Soft protein like yogurt, cottage cheese, eggs and protein powder . I could do about 2 small bites of each. About 4 oz of protein shake during the day today.

June 2014 Sleevers Check In!
I cheated a lot too. Just small cheats like a slice of cheese or a bite of steak. I'm not trying to say it's ok or it makes it right but I also was doing crossfit at the time and that makes me hangry!!! Lol. Nobody's perfect. Try to do better for the rest of the time you have . Don't look back , just move forward!! The liquid diet is beneficial for lots of reasons. It is hard but Try to do better but don't be discouraged were all human here!

June 2014 Sleevers Check In!
Your experience sounds similar to mine. I'm getting more fluids and Protein in each day, however, I have yet to sleep through the night, up every three to four hours, and I'm utterly exhausted. Pain seems to be better today. I'm coughing without feeling like my incisions won't bust. Hopefully things will get better! Keep up the good work everyone. Ugh the dreaded cough! I had some coughing issues while still at the hospital and it felt as if I we're being stabbed in the stomach ! Ouch! I get pretty tired too. I'm taking Vicodin but trying not to take it too often. Definitely helps though! Good luck

June 2014 Sleevers Check In!
I'm a June 9 sleever too. Last night was my first night home. Slept pretty well, in my own bed. The first night was absolutely awful, I felt like I was hit by a truck, and I cried that I made a huge mistake. But thank God I feel so much better. No more regrets. I got on the scale today, I'm down 4 lbs from Monday. 13 total since 2 weeks preop diet. I feel better each day. I'm back to work on Monday which is stressing me out a bit. Other than that I'm trying to stay positive. My husband and kids have been awesome! Helpful and even started following a diet. Hopefully this change will positively effect my whole family! Hope all is well by all of you guys too! How are all the June 9 sleevers doing?? Love sharing experiences

Post Op June 2014 Sleevers
I was sleeved Monday, I don't have any appetite either, but I Am fine with that. I think that's pretty normal at this stage. I'm supposed to add protein shakes tomorrow. I can't even think about that. I guess a sip or two will be ok. I had some broth today and tea. So far so good.
