Hi everyone,
I might be interested in leading / hosting a group (North Denver). Currently, I attend a support group that meets once a month at the Good Samaritan Hospital / Kaiser Permanente Rock Creek facility off of 287 in Lafayette. However, it starts early (4:30pm) & I feel can be tough for some to attend.
I'm definitely out-going, personable, and most importantly, a big advocate for helping / supporting people in our weight loss journey. This is a life-long journey, and let's face it, encouragement & moral support is huge!
I'm quite comfortable leading discussions as I co-lead team projects as a Kaizen facilitator at my job. I would certainly consider any training that would help me become a better group leader. Who knows, I might have a career change?
Alex, as interest increases & things get more organized, please consider me for the North Denver area.

When you visit your surgeon’s office, attend a support group meeting, or go to another weight loss surgery appointment, share BariatricPal.com fliers! Hand them out, post them on a bulletin board, or ask your surgeon, a nurse, another healthcare professional, or the office’s receptionist to make them available in the waiting room and examining rooms. Over the years, we’ve talked to many bariatric surgeons, their staff, other allied health professionals, and patients. Many aren’t even aware of our BariatricPal.com community – so thousands of weight loss surgery patients aren’t taking advantage of our community. How would you feel if you had to go through your weight loss journey without us?
To help spread the word about BariatricPal.com, we created fliers that can be hung in surgeon and healthcare waiting and exam rooms. They can also be distributed to patients in pre and post surgery packets. The fliers briefly describe our community, and are available in black and white and in color. They are ready to be printed and are below.
Here’s where you come in…Can you please help distribute our fliers? When you visit your surgeon and other healthcare professionals, please consider leaving one (or many) fliers with them and their staff. Please suggest that they post fliers in the waiting room or bulletin board, and supply them to their patients in the pre and post surgery packets.

Quick reminder about meeting this Saturday at E.B. Rains Park by the boat rentals, in Northglenn at 9am, rain or Shine. If it happens to be raining, let's meet under the Gazebo to the left of the boat rental. I'll post what I'm going to wear, on Friday, so you don't walk up to a random stranger
