Thanks for the motivation, I believe we all get down, that is what is so good about this site, we all need to encourage each other. Just knowing we all have had the same feelings about ourselves, and look at the people that has had all the success. I am sure they went through it all, but there is a goal that we started out to meet, and we will get there, it just takes time. Just BELIEVE it

Hi, it just happened to me for the first time, I was banded 9/13/07, and have had two fills. The Doctor told me to stay away from White Bread. I have been able to eat just about anything in small portions. Well I went out to eat last night, had a dinner roll (White) Didn't think anything about it, I had pressure, so went to the rest room. Thought everything was OK. On the way home about 15 minutes later in the car, I thought I just had to burp, well I did, and it all came up. I believe the White bread just formed a ball, and would not let anything go down. So guess what, no more white bread for me, I know that's what was it. Baned in Mexico by Dr. Gonzalez, very nice. Lost 10 pounds so far, so if I lose another 10 pounds next month, It will be all worth it. All you bander hang in there.

I was banded 9/13/07 by Dr. Gonzalez in Tijuana. I had a very go experience. Very clear, very caring people. Private room to stay in overnight. I think they checked on me 20 times to see how I was doing. Fills for life, no charge. Surgery was $7500.00. Check it out Lap Band Surgery, more than 2,500 successful procedures. I like in So. Cal, so it is only a 1 1/2 hour drive to Mexico. In fact the Girl that would pick you up at the border, her Father is a Dentist and we are seeing him also. Very,very nice people, they speak english and the price is less than 1/2. getting Lumineers done. By this time next year, nobody will recognise me. HEHE

NM Sunshine: I was banded by Dr. Gonzalez in Tijuana Mexico Sept. 13, 07. They were so nice, I have NO complaints. I have only lost 6 pounds. I had my first fill Sept. 27. I can eat just about anything I like, but in small portions. It seems like I lose 2 pounds, and then gain 2 pounds. Then I lose 1 pound and it stays off. But what a rollercoaster. But I think I am losing inches? Time will tell. Enjoy all the postings, and they are encouraging.

pgducote: How many fills have you had? You must not be restricted enough. You lost weight by less intake, and exercise. Maybe you need a good fill? Good luck, you will make it. 26 pounds is great. It is very hard to lose 26 pounds with out the band. Hang in there, you have everything you need to lose. Put it this way by Dec. 08 you will be 52 pounds less. Great Job.

I went to Mexico 9/13/07 and it was a very pleasant experience. Dr. Gonzalez and Dr. Valenzuela were very nice. The staff was excellent. $7500.00. I can't think of any negitive thing to say. golap-band.com

SD Chick Thank you for the great response, I am 60 and I started to wonder if it was really going to help me like everyone else. I lost 5 pound and today I gained 1 pound. I go for my for my first fill Thursday Sept. 20. At this time I really don't know what to expect. I am hoping for a loss like you have had. Again thanks for the encouragement.

Dr. Gonzalez in TJ I just had it done the on 9/13/07. No passport needed. They are very, very nice people, NO problems. Excellent care. After surgery, Dr Valenzuela and Dr. Gonzalez checked on me 4-5 time to see if everything was OK. Dr. in USA don't do that. You made a very good choise. I would go there again, nothing but good things to say.

I was banded 9/13/07 today is 9/19/07 and have gained 2 pounds??? I have done everything right, tell me I will start to lose ? Has anyone else had this gain, and when did the weight start to go? Thanks for the support css

I was banded 9/13/07. as of today 9/19/07 I have gained 2 pounds, and I am so hungry. I have done everything I am suppose to do?? Will it come off?
