  1. :) Happy Easter! My email is 1morrisfamily@comcast.net God Bless!
  2. Hey Amber! How have you done so far? My hints would be:

    1. make sure you are on top of your fills

    2. I don't eat breads, pasta or rice (really don't eat carbs)

    3. always eat meat first then veggie

    4. if need a sugar snack only eat 100 calorie pack m&m or swedish fish LOL my downfalls

    5. excercize, excercize, excercize.. really speeds it up.

    6. chew chew chew

    7. eat off of a salad plate.

    8. never eat more than 1 cup of food at a time

    9. drink as much as possible.. try for 64 I always end up between 36-64 ounces

    10. Never never drink carbonated beverages.

I hope this helps! Let me know how you are doing and if there is anything I can help you with. Where do you live?

  3. Hey Cali,

I definetly have a goal in mind but I am flexible with it. I believe once your body is where it should be whatever that weight may be you will know.. I am super close to my original goal but probably will pass that.. I am not focused on a number just on where I feel comfortable. I hope that answers your question. If not let me know.. Good luck!!!!!

  4. Hey there lizzy,

I have 5.7cc in a 10 cc band. 70 pounds is awesome!!! congrats on your success. I excercize alot and try and stay away from carbs. I am almost to goal weight and it is getting so much harder now. Good luck and you look terrific!

  5. Hi Tara,

Thanks for the sweet comment on my blog. Congrats on being banded and welcome to your new lease on life. The important thing to always remember is this is a tool not a miracle cure. If you follow the band rules which are so simple you can lose alot of weight!!! I eat what I want just in very small portions and I eat very slowly. I have been super aggresive with my fills and that has helped me tremendously. I am always available if you have any questions. xoxox Allie~

  6. 158 was my total weight lost.. but I fluctuate between 165 lost and 155.

  7. Hello there!! congrats on being banded!

  8. Hey how did the drain removal go????? I've been thinking about you.

  9. Hey lucy, thanks that pic was from August.. I think I was at like 70 pounds lost there. :)

  10. Hey there Army! You need some more pics in your before and afters!! I hope you have a wonderful day girl! xoxo

  11. Hey there Tall.. Congrats on beginning the process!!! My hints would be to be really aggresive with your fills, never eat more than 1/2 cup. Try and stick to 3 meals a day.. avoid pasta, rice and breads (they swell and can cause your band to slip) chew chew chew and eat slowly. No drinking 1/2 hour before or 1/2 hour after and try and drink at least 64 oz a day. So now here is the thing.. I am not on a diet.. I eat whatever I want just in very small amounts and I am satisfied. I dont do alot of carbs just because I don't have room for them and I don't want to have a slippage. I really didn't start hard core excercizing until recently due to weight loss slowing as i get closer to goal. Do you have specific questions? Please feel free to ask anything! You can email me as well at 1morrisfamily@comcast.net. xoxo Allie~

  12. hey there! I got the shirt at either forever 21 or kohls' I can't remember which one.. I like the ones that have the bands around the bottom of the shirt but are blousy.. now when i get my tummy tuck in nov i will send it to you since i plan on wearing skin tight shirts lol!

  13. hey there! I have to tell you that yes I have loose skin but I look so much better naked and with clothes on with loose skin than i did fat. My surgery for the tummy tuck and breast lift with implants is going to cost $18,336. My insurance does not cover it and I was self pay on my lapband which was $18,500 so for under $36,000 grand a whole new me! I used to say when I was heavy that I would rather be fat than have loose skin and honestly I would rather have loose skin for the rest of my life! :) Good luck with your journey and if there is anything I can do to help let me know!

  14. Hey there! Thanks for the picture comment! I just checked out your pics and "WOW" you look so amazing! Keep up the good work!

  15. Hey there!! Your new pic is great!! Love the new hair! Did you get extensions, if so they look awesome. I cut off all my hair right before getting banded and regret it..I want hair!! Lol..

  16. hey there. I just wanted to tell you, I didn't get a complete unfill I actually just got 1cc taken off and I have done great. I was super tight before that 1cc so I still have restriction but nothing crazy. I haven't pb'd once since surgery. Maybe don't get a complete unfill. I would be worried about that too. xoxo

  17. Hey there.. congrats on your banding day! I was banded 6/20/08. My excercize at first was pretty much just the wii fit and I wasn't a huge excercizer. I believe the most important thing is to be aggresive with your fills. Once you hit that sweet spot you really lose fast. Once I was banded I was getting fills every 2 weeks, I have never gained, I have continued to lose. I did have a small plateau at christmas but really the weight just melted off. I have started excercizing now really hard since it is getting tougher to lose the closer I get to goal. I am doing the elliptical for 30 minutes a night plus doing 30 minutes of weight training.. working on my stomache, arms and legs. I have been going every night for the past 10 days and really am feeling so awesome. It seems like just yesterday I was banded and I have to tell you, it's the best thing I have ever done for myself! I am here if you have any questions and congrats again!!

  18. hey there.. I am doing much better thanks for asking. I have to say the lipo of the thighs was the worst, the tummy and boobs hurt but the thighs killed. Could be because I had the pain pump for tummy and boobs. I am doing better every day. How long did it take for you to be able to go out? Like shopping and stuff?

  19. Hey there.. I am sooo happy I got banded. I was more afraid of the risks of not being banded than the risks of being banded... stroke, heart attack, diabetes.. I am down 117.5 pounds and I know that my chances of getting those killer diseases are sooo much less now. Yes there are risks with the band but for me (I haven't had any complications) the risks of not getting done were so much worse. It has been almost 10 months and I honestly would do it again in a heartbeat!! I wouldn't even think twice about it. I am a self pay and feel it was worth every penny I spent. I hope that answers your questions and if it doesn't feel free to contact me anytime! I wish you much luck on your decision. xoxo Allie~

  20. Hey there.. I tried to click on your pic to see you since the avatar is so small but it wont let me.. can you create a photo album so I can see ya?? xoxo :) Allie~

  21. Hey there.. I was looking for your taco muffin recipe and couldn't find it.. can you let me in on your secret?? Thanks! xoxo

  22. Hey there.. I wish I was at goal.. I am super close though. My goals keep changing..lol.. Have you been banded yet? If not good luck and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.. I am so PROBAND it's ridiculous lol.. I love to tell anyone who will listen how great it is! :)

  23. Hey there.. I wouldn't say I worked out alot but I tried to keep my body moving as much as possible. I always got up and either walked around or ran up and down the stairs during commercials.. :)

  24. hey there.. sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I had to self pay. Tricare at the time didn't pay for lapband. I also paid for my plastic surgery.. total a little over 40 grand.. worth every single penny! I would do it again in a heart beat and I think being a self pay helped me with the motivation to lose the weight.
