Wow it has been so long since I checked in on here.. I am doing great! I am really loving life now! Yesterday was my 42nd bday and I feel like I am 21!! I will post some new pics asap.

hey there.. sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I had to self pay. Tricare at the time didn't pay for lapband. I also paid for my plastic surgery.. total a little over 40 grand.. worth every single penny! I would do it again in a heart beat and I think being a self pay helped me with the motivation to lose the weight.

lol.. I am still recovering and I had tummy tuck and breast lift in November and my thigh lift in January. I am doing alot better but still get tired really easily and am still sore from mostly the leg lipo.. which is a killer lol

Hi Janet, I had my boobs and tummy tuck done at same time then I had my thighs done. I am wearing a size 1o jeans can wear 8 but since my thigh lift was only a month ago I don't want them to be to tight. I am super happy with my results.. good luck to you!

thanks caldwell, I have to say I followed the band rules especially no pasta, rice or carbonated beverages since those can stretch your pouch. I also never ate more than a cup of food at a time. Also getting your fills and excercizing as much as possible.

Hi michelle, I would say if you aren't focusing on food, full on less than a 1/2 cup of food at a meal and losing weight you are at your sweet spot.. I hope that helps!

158 was my total weight lost.. but I fluctuate between 165 lost and 155.

hey there. I just wanted to tell you, I didn't get a complete unfill I actually just got 1cc taken off and I have done great. I was super tight before that 1cc so I still have restriction but nothing crazy. I haven't pb'd once since surgery. Maybe don't get a complete unfill. I would be worried about that too. xoxo

hi again.. I am also getting a thigh lift in 3 months. I am really worried about the pain but know once I do that I will feel like I'm complete lol. Please keep me updated on your thigh lift recovery!!!

hey there.. I am doing much better thanks for asking. I have to say the lipo of the thighs was the worst, the tummy and boobs hurt but the thighs killed. Could be because I had the pain pump for tummy and boobs. I am doing better every day. How long did it take for you to be able to go out? Like shopping and stuff?

I honestly haven't worried about maintenance. I know I will never be fat again. I still keep my band pretty tight so I am constantly aware of what and how much I eat. I am more afraid of losing to much than gaining. My hubby is constantly telling me to drink a protein shake just to bump up my calories for the day. I don't think about food anymore which has been the biggest gift of all. I used to think about what I was making for break,lunch,dinner constantly. It is freeing to not be so caged by food. My biggest fears are all the attention I get now. It is difficult to want to look hot and sexy and the attention it gets. I just want people to admire from afar hahaha. I know this problem will only get worse once my ps is done.

You look amazing as well! Isn't it great to be a success story? Getting the lapband is the best thing I ever did. I saw your pics and you are a major hottie! Congrats on your tt. I am getting an advanced tummy tuck, breast lift with implants, thigh lipo and body contouring lipo on November 19th. 2 weeks from today! I am terrified of the pain but after seeing your results, realize it will be worth it. I am also getting a thigh lift but have to wait till february for that. Keep up the great work!

hey there! I got the shirt at either forever 21 or kohls' I can't remember which one.. I like the ones that have the bands around the bottom of the shirt but are blousy.. now when i get my tummy tuck in nov i will send it to you since i plan on wearing skin tight shirts lol!

It took me about 9 months to get to a size 12 from a 24. I was pretty happy with that. I am a 10 now and I am sure when I have my plastic surgery I will be an 8. I was comfortable when I was able to wear 14's and shop in a regular store, now that was exciting!

Hey there.. I wouldn't say I worked out alot but I tried to keep my body moving as much as possible. I always got up and either walked around or ran up and down the stairs during commercials..

hey there! I have to tell you that yes I have loose skin but I look so much better naked and with clothes on with loose skin than i did fat. My surgery for the tummy tuck and breast lift with implants is going to cost $18,336. My insurance does not cover it and I was self pay on my lapband which was $18,500 so for under $36,000 grand a whole new me! I used to say when I was heavy that I would rather be fat than have loose skin and honestly I would rather have loose skin for the rest of my life!
