    Inner thigh lift

I was staying with my parents, but I'm home now. The vertical incision runs from my groin to just below the knee. Keeping my legs elevated is wreaking havoc on my lower back, so I'm starting to spend more time upright & walking around. Transitioning from sitting to standing is the most uncomfortable right now.

    Inner thigh lift

Surgery only took 4 hours, yes, it was outpatient, & no drains, which is a first! Took a shower but forgot to take pictures before I got back into compression garment. Even though I'm swollen & the incisions look pretty bad at this stage, I'm pretty pleased with the overall shape of my new legs! I definitely over did it yesterday (spent about 3 hours out with friends & not elevating my legs), and I'm paying for it today, so I'm trying to be extra good today & hopefully I'll feel up to going home tomorrow.

    Skin

I'm scheduled for a vertical thigh lift on 5/16 to take care of the inner thighs. Already had a fleur de lis TT/LBL, which dramatically improved outer thighs & most of the back issues.

    Diet after Plastics

I didn't have much of an appetite for several weeks after TT/LBL. Typical day was protein shakes/bars & one meal of actual food because I just wanted to get some veggies in! But keeping protein at 100+ was primary focus. Like Stella S, I'm sure I've lost some muscle in the process (I've had 2 of 3 procedures with the last scheduled for a week from Tuesday), so I've been pretty much out of commission for real exercise since late Feb, and don't expect to be fully cleared until late June. I try to stay a bit more aware of calories & carbs than when I was just maintaining & have managed to lose a few lbs on top of what was removed. I feel like I'm more vigilant now than I have been since I was actively losing, because the fear of regain is real!

    HOP INTO SPRING CHALLENGE!!

    I remembered!! 146.4 today
  7. Everyone doesn't always have a lift plus reduction! My breasts are smaller because he removed all of the excess skin, but didn't remove any actual breast tissue. So I for one had "just" a lift

You might want to check out RealSelf. Just did a quick search for male tummy tuck… lots of results. Good luck!

    HOP INTO SPRING CHALLENGE!!

I think I missed last week… oops! 148.2 this week!
  10. C/D was my dream, so I'm really happy with my results. Had my TT/LBL on 2/23, BL on 4/18, and my (hopefully last surgery) inner thigh lift is scheduled for 5/16. Looking forward to be done with surgeries and recovery. I just hope my thighs go as smoothly as the first 2!
  11. Pre sleeve, I was a 42G. I'm still swollen from surgery, but based on measurements, it looks like I'm now a 32C/D.
  12. I just had my lift without implants last week, and I'm really happy with the results. Here's my before & after pics.
  13. I'd schedule a consultation with a surgeon… it'll really depend on your arm and your art!

    Question about breast surgery

I just had a breast lift & reduction on Tuesday. I'm sore at the drain sites, but other than that, I'm feeling pretty good!

    TT & BL- 2 ops or 1

My surgeon limits his planned surgery time to 6 hours for patient safety, so he often won't do the TT & BL as a single procedure. Luckily, he thought he'd be able to do both within that time for me. My surgery ended up taking 8 hours (no complications, just took longer than he expected). My recovery was much easier than I expected (& my surgeon was pretty surprised by my recovery, too!) & was back to working full time in 10 days (desk job & worked partly from home the first week back). I think going with the surgeon you're most comfortable with is the best plan! Best of luck.
  17. Yesterday was 6 weeks post TT/LBL, which meant I no longer have to wear my compression garment. I didn't wear it to work (which turned into an 11 hour day), and within an hour I just started feeling weird… not bad, just weird. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but it kind of felt like my skin wanted to come apart at the seams! When I finally got home, I immediately (right after I checked to make sure that I hadn't actually split in half… incision looks fine!) put my compression garment back on & felt much better! I'm totally ok wearing this for as long as I need to, but I'm wondering how long it was before other folks felt ok without.

Haven't done a challenge in a while! I'm having a breast & thigh lift during this challenge, so exercise is going to be minimal! SW: 149.2 GW: 145

    6 weeks post TT/LBL

Thanks for the scoop & glad it's not just me! My thigh lift is scheduled for 5/16… so it sounds like I'll be in compression for 6 months by the time it's all over (& I'm ok with that)! About the tape, how often did you change it?
  20. You look fantastic! Crazy that we still have to worry about complications 6 weeks out, but glad you're finally on the mend!!

    "Must Haves" post LBL

Everyone's recovery is different. I had an LBL & TT w/muscle repair, and while I admit my experience is apparently atypical, with the exception of lots of extra pillows & Tylenol at night, and some very mild discomfort, I was pretty much back to "normal" in about 10 days. In fact, at day 11 post op, I worked a 13 hour day (which was the start of 120 hours in a 12 day stretch)! I'm 5 weeks out today, and am still amazed by how good I feel! Aside from numbness around the incision area (& the lack of hanging skin around my midsection), it's like nothing happened, and not a day goes by that I don't feel incredibly lucky! Just thought I'd share another recovery story!

    Excited and nervous

If you're close to goal by surgery, you may want to talk to your surgeon about doing a full TT. I've heard that with insurance, often times you're able to get the additional TT portion of the surgery for less since insurance is already covering part of it (OR, anesthesia, etc). Just a thought.
  23. I'm waiting for a call back from the scheduler… hoping to have my lift/reduction within the next month. Pre weight loss I was wearing at 42G. 140lbs lighter and I'm in a 34F (cups are a bit loose, but I refuse to spend $$ on new bras until after). Mine aren't quite to my belly button, but they're close! Hope all goes well for you & excited to follow your experience!

    "Must Haves" post LBL

I pretty much lived in a recliner for the first few days. After that, just lots of pillows. Other than that, I didn't have any other props. A walker or something would've been nice… being hunched over and unsupported KILLED my lower back muscles! Good luck to you… totally worth it!
  25. Totally forgot I did a side by side!
