Yes, My wife used this Doctor when he worked for Andres Betancourt at the moulding clinic approx. a year or so ago...It was a nightmare! She was in a lot of Pain and stayed an extra 2 days we were abandoned in a hotel room..She could'nt drink anything she was throwing up etc. with a lot of chest pain..a male nurse showed up with the coordinator and gave her a shot without any help,Other than that The doctor was'nt calling the shots it seems they work for these clinics and the coordinators ..Not like in the Us. We had to pay $5500.00 extra dollars to remove the band she was severely dehidrated and her blood pressure was down ...she vomited in her lung during the surgery removing the band...I believe this doctor no longer works with the moulding clinic or betancourt medical.?..She is paying the extra few thousand dollars more $3,000.00 to be exact and having the band put back in in the United states...I would NEVER go back to this clinic again ...I paid twice the amount to have this horrible experience..I should have stayed in the Us. Go ANYWHERE BUT HERE! Johnny

Mexico ...I also don't believe the way we were treated by Andres Betancourt at the Moulding clinic in mexico...It was a nightmare ..They are now calling themselves Betancourt medical...Medical??? Nothing they do is profesional ...Please Beware I know of people who work as coordinators at these clinics and use this and other forums like this to bate people ..You will be told anything you want to hear to get you there ...After payment is made your records are damaged lost etc. Please do your homework...There are Good Doctors in Mexico ...Just not this clinic....Please remember this is just a clinic...Other doctors use a hospitals in mexico..John

I understand you are very intelligent, I never doubted that, one bit of info you posted is frightening. Can you tell me how many deaths are because of lap band surgery. Also can actually be proven, I also wonder how many lap band surgeries have been performed. What the percentages would actually be if there is actually any deaths reported that can actually be blamed on it. To begin with most of all patients are at high risk unless im wrong about that im no physician. I know you are a wealth of knowledge and hardly am trying to sugar coat the surgery in question, but im sure the benifits out weigh the consequences of the overweight madness, or i dont think folks would be getting many lapbands. im sorry, yours didnt work. you seem to be mentally bashing your self because of that. and you dont deserve it. so try to get over it and focussing positive will help you in the long run, the positive reports far out weigh the negative. i know a lot of people who have noticed people only go to the internet when the have problems and if they are doing well they go on with life and lose weight and you dont hear from them much. simply because life is good and all is working well with the lap band that they have. i know this is true simply because this is my case. but bugging off the hook only makes it worse on you and others that surround you. and i know you wouldnt want that.! right i just dont want to see you run off people with bombardment of negativie vibes. and remember you can do this you can do this,

you have to at least drink water no matter what because dehydration causes the cramping. make very sure you drink water, no matter what. if you drink lots of water the cramping will stop. for sure AND IM SURE THATS THE MAJOR CONCERN IS THE CRAMPING. it can get pretty freaky when cramping up. get the water down now.

Subject.. Dr. Huacuz and Andres in Tj at the molding clinic...When my husband and I decided to get banded We called Andres at the molding clinic...I talked with a lady named Violet she said she was from New York and told us about the molding clinic...We then talked to Andres we did a little looking around and did not hear anything bad about the clinic...well anyway we arrived there and we were rushed around to have tests done etc. Then Andres took us out for drinks at his favorite bar...we were not told what we could eat etc. except to stop at 12:00 midnight...we were taken to a hotel and picked up in the morning Dr. Huacuz and Dr. Ramero and Andres and Violet were there the doctors were giving some instructions to us about the surgery etc.i went first, well anyway the operation was good i woke up fine and went to the other room 10 min after surgery to give my husband a kiss before his surgery...they took him in and i walked around a little bit ...my husband came out of surgery fine and he took a couple of hours for him to get up....: )...three hours after the operation we were taken to the hotel and left there with some juice ,jello ,water...a very few antibotics i don't think there were any pain pills or anything for nausia ...we had not tried to take anything by mouth yet ...but here we were left alone at this hotel...well my husband took sips of water and crushed the antibiotics and took it down very well...i tryed to just take a sip not even a sip and my chest felt like someone had hit me with a hammer like i was having a heart attack not like i have ever had a heart attack ...but it hurt bad...i could not take any antibiotics or mt ,thyroid medicine, all i did was feel pain in my chest and vomit for four and a half days it was horrible ...i would have rather had a baby...instead of this ,,,,the doctor stoped by the hospital with Andres and Violet...he told me i would be okay and to stay out of the bathroom like i could help it...Hi....I did not want to feel this way ...I thought something was really wrong...basically ..Andres came to the hotel and gave me a couple of shots that did nothing ...We would try and call for help ..remember we could not speak spanish and we were abanonded at this hotel ...i went on like this for four and a half days ...i was never taken to a hospital back to the clinic...the moulding clinic...I was severly dehydrated and i had to call and beg for an iv or something , they brought a iv and hung it on a lamp post at the hotel...how ghetto was this...my husband wanted to take me to the hospital in San diego...i was very hot and dehydrated and was having a hard time breathing and i could not stop throwing up and the pain in my chest was horrible...i had to beg andres to come to the hotel ...maybe three times...well anyway i went on like this and finally andres came to the hotel 4 1/2 days later and took me to the moulding clinic where i had to have emergency surgery and i had to pay for it...wow!! $5500.00 more dollars i had to do it i thought i was going to die in mexico...i had to pay for the extra days at the hotel...etc etc. i really wanted this band to work...i was very dissapointed in Dr. huacus dr. Romero, and in Andres the paitent cordinatior ...they just abonded my husband and myself...frankly we were very scared , we had to call our son and have him fly out he was very upset to see a iv hanging from a lamp in the hotel...may i also ad tat my son works at a hospital in reno nv.We would not wish this experence on anyone when it all cmae down to it Andres and Dr. huacuz only wanted one thing money ...and they got it...i do want to be rebanded all of this happened in may of 2005 ..my husband had tryed to post what happened...and i wrote some posts also .everyone asked who was the doctor now after reading the other ladys experience i am not asshamed to say who they were any more...please be very careful,,,when choosing a doctor ...thankyou for reading this Sheri

thanks for the encouraging words, even though im not as active on here as id like to be I really do see everyone here as brothers and sisters due to our common goal and also having a band. i may have expected a little bit more than i should have, i just feel like we really got burned. and in my family we all stick together really tight especially when one of us has been taken total advantage of. i was merely trying to save some poor soul the anguish and suffering that was unjustly due to us. that is the only reason i showed the digusting first contact letters after nearly 7 months. i wasnt griping. i was merely appauled, to finally see the true colors of somebody who we entrusted with our lives! and thought my people should see the letters. p.s we hardly dwell in a trailer. and the gifts we brought and distributed were from our family coin and jewelry store of over 28 years, so dont put to much stock in his ramblings. if you would like you can see some of the items we sell on ebay our seller name is ( srcnv ) just another bit of proof of the insults and where they came from and how unwarranted they were we are not the people he was trying to portray us as. but one thing is 4 sure he has not heard the last from this old country boy.

ABOUT THE ANDRES from the moulding clinic letter. his phone number is right there on the post . since you were so quick to pass judgement and say im lying and falsely posted his letter, why dont you just call him and ask him for yourself. you really should have especially before you incinuate that i have nothing better on my daily agenda than to spread lies. p.s. if this is like you say a support forum which now im thoroughly convinced you are not here to help, surely you would have read this and had some COMPASSION for what we have gone through.
