My surgery day is May 28th
Good luck!! You'll feel amazing. When I was in the hospital after having mine, the man beside me was having revisions to his gastric bypass. He'd been having problems for a few weeks. After both our surgeries I asked him if he regretted having the surgery in the first place due to his problems. He said he hasn't had 1 regret and he would do it all over in a heartbeat. He was 70 pounds down and said he still felt healthier than he had in years. He was very uplifting for me. I had my 2 week check up today and my incisions are almost completely healed. I'm on to full fluids and mashed potatoes now. And it feels like a delightful treat.

That's so wonderful to hear! You deserve this feeling for doing this huge step for yourself, can you imagine the feeling when you do lose the 85lbs?! You go girl!
Thank you so much! How far along are you in your journey?

Oh you'll be eating the things you love in no time, we just won't be able to eat much of it lol, 30 lbs is awesome! You must really feel a difference eh?
It's so weird. I still have about 85lbs to lose before I'm at a healthy weight, but I feel incredible. My clothes fit better, my face is so much slimmer already. I'm starting to look on the outside how I feel on the inside. I'm so happy.

My name is Bre. He had a stricture. Where the scar tissue closes the opening in your stomach so anything he tried to eat just came right back up. But again, that was with the bypass. I haven't had any complications with my sleeve so far. And every day I feel better and better. Just a tip, when you start noticing your clothes are too big. Don't go buy a bunch of new clothes. Within a week or 2, those will be to big too. I've been living in $12 wal-mart pants and have gone from XXL to L in a month. It feels great. But it's hard on my wallet. Ha ha. Small price to pay I guess.
