I'm 9 weeks out. I eat between 500 - 700 calories per day. (This includes one Premier Protein shake, a half of an Isopure Protein Drink, and 1 1/2 - 3 ounces of baked salmon almost every day.)
-
I felt like my swelling went down at about 7 weeks. Hopefully it's still a bit swollen, because that means I'm going be even smaller soon.

Soooo true!

Congrats! Welcome to the club.

So frustrating! Keep the faith.

I was not looking forward to my pre op diet, but....it helped me prepare for after the surgery. I'd definitely cut down in the next couple of weeks.
-
I was only able to walk, pre surgery. But what really helped with my pre surgery weight loss was keeping track of everything I put in my mouth. The app My Fitness Pal is invaluable. (I lost 25lbs in about 14 weeks prior to surgery.)
-
I agree about the head hunger. I'm still having trouble telling the difference between real hunger and head hunger.
-
I actually lost 25 pounds of it presurgery. i'm concentrating on eating Protein protein and more protein.
What are you eating to lose that much weight in such a small amount of time. Don't get me wrong it is wonderful if you are not starving yourself to do it..Just worried that you are not getting enough nutrients from what you are eating.

I shared with my family members that I also consider to be friends, and that's it.

Her reaction has nothing to do with you. It's about her own fear and insecurities. This is not cheating by any means. But if is was, so what!

Good job! I'm having trouble finding before pix bc I never liked taking pictures!

I'm so proud of myself! I hit two milestones this morning. I was Sleeved on 3/04/14. My starting weight was 299, my starting BMI was over 50. Today, 9 weeks later, I hit the half-way point to my goal and my BMI is now just under 40. (Down 64.5lbs, and BMI down over 10.) Good job me!

I use Premier Protein shakes, which come ready to drink and chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla. They are 11 oz, 160 calories, 30 grams of Protein, 3 grams of fat, and 4 grams carbohydrates. I add a few ounces of Decaf to cut the sweetness a bit. They cost about $24 for 18. (They sometimes go on coupon for $4 off.) Good luck!

Not good progress, I'd say GREAT progress! Keep it up.

I felt lousy and weak for the first 6 weeks. At almost exactly 6 weeks, I started feeling better. I had more energy and felt more in control of my body.

I took 8 weeks off. I'm so glad I did. (I also had the lap band removed and a hernia repair.) But now that I'm back to work, I do have more of a regular routine, which helps my eating program.
