I have UHC MDIPA FED and I am praying my approval letter will not be an issue. I'm a nervous wreck over it. The paperwork won't be submitted until July 21st ugh! And my surgery is scheduled for August 20th. God willing all will go as planned.

Blessed please keep me posted on how everything goes. Are you going to the support groups? I just started this month and it was good because I was able to get some questions answered. If you go next month let me know I would love to meet u in person. I like having someone to go through this with.

So I got my surgery date. It's scheduled for August 20th. So nervous and excited at the same time. He wanted to schedule me on June 16th but wouldn't it figure I'm on vacation that week and already paid for or I would have changed it. Now I am waiting for the paperwork to be sent into my insurance company. That won't be done till the 21st of July. Please keep it in prayer that they approve it right away. Yes don't worry everything will be fine. I'm nervous to sew A DR Gansas on the 19th however I a m staying positive. I was hoping that the coordinator would have submitted my paperwork to the insurance co. But I know they have a process they follow I just want to get the approval from them so I can breathe.

I know people that have had he gastric bypass and have had great success.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Did the dr who did the endoscopy tell you that you had that prior to seeing Dr gandsas? That makes me nervous because the sent in a biopsy for me saying that the lining in my esophagus was irregular but then after the biopsy they said everything was fine.

Dr Gansas seems ok. But I've heard good things about the office and the nurse however I haven't really spoken much to either one of them to make a decision at to how they are. There are a lot of test which I'm grateful for so going into it I know how my health is.

I hope to get my surgery date on June 19th. I was hoping for the surgery to the place in august but I guess it will be like September or October. I'm praying my insurance goes through without a hitch.

I have been seeing Dr Gandsas and am hoping to get my surgery appointment when I see him on the 19th of this month. Do u know why he scheduled it so far away? I thought it's normally 2 months after your date is scheduled.

Well although my sleep theapy was denied. They said the numbers weren't severe enough for the sleep theapy so now it's just a waiting game. All my paperwork is in. I'm praying my dr nurse sends it all in soon and praying that they approve the surgery. Keep me in your prayers please:)

Just found out that my insurance denied my cpap therapy. I hope this is not a bad sign. I'm so worried the will not approve my surgery and I need it so bad.

Thank you. Talking to someone who has went through AAMC feels good. I have a class this week and hope to meet some people I can become friends with and who can be a good support too. I think all the stories about the sleeve leaking and complications make me nervous. But dr gandsas does this surgery a lot. For him it's probably a walk in the park. I would love to see before and after pics if your willing to share but if your like me. I don't like to have my picture taken.
