My RNY was done robotically, went well. I don't have much to compare it to but no complaints either.

Hello. I am 2 days post op. My weight on surgery day was 288. Hopping to get down to 150. I am new to all this but I love the idea of having friends to turn to that are going through the exact same thing as I am. And also the thought of being there for you all as well. I think it's great that we can form these circles of friendship. So to tell you a little about myself I'm 34 and live in Tennessee. My starting weight was 309. I have had chronic back pain (quiet severe at times) for 8 years. It has really stole my happiness but not anymore. I'm taking my life back as of now!! I hope all of you the best and I look forward to getting to know some friends!!

I would love to add you...but you may have to tell me how to go about doing that. I tried but didn't get it.

Well I made it!! Discharged yesterday. Went to my sons little league game last night (not smart) but oh well. Experiencing much more pain than I was expecting but I know it will get better. Thanks for all the prayers and sweet thoughts. By the grace of God, good family and good friends I made it to the other side!!

I am having surgery on the 21st as well, and I grew up in Athens, tn. I currently live in Kingsport, Tn. I originally had my done in Dalton with Dr. Jaime Ponce. I love Hamilton Place. Where do you live? Is your Doctor? How old are you? I am 28.

I'm actually having mine at Blount Memorial in Maryville. My friend works for Dr Johnathan Ray and he was also her surgeon. So I decided to do it there. We live in Georgetown it's about 25 minutes from Hamilton place. I am 34. Good luck tomorrow!! Keep in touch we can support each other!

Hi, my name is Diana. This is my first time on a forum. So please bear with me. Surgery is the 21st. I'm so excited but I'm so nervous!!!! I've followed many of you and seen your videos and blogs. You all have been such great encouragement. So any last do's or donts before or after my big day. Any and all info would be greatly appreciated. I'm doing this for my health so I can be the mom my son deserves and the wife my husband deserves. Right now I can't do either, let alone be the person I want to be. So as I said....info? Advice? And above all if you could say a little prayer for me that would be even more appreciated!! Thank you all in advance!!
