Way to go! Can't wait to see the results at our support group meeting on the 30th!

Actually MD's must accept what Medicare pays and not bill the patient the rest...that is the deal. That being said, the MD's bill insurance a very large sum. My surgeon billed BC/BS over 15,000 dollars. Blue Cross paid them $1700. and because they in in network that is all they got. Talk to the practice and ask what they routinely get paid by other private insurance. Agree to pay the difference. They can bill you for things that Medicare does not pay for, support groups, preop and post op classes and the like to make up that difference. Someone must have a creative brain in that practice.

I had a fill with Dr Bertha last week and I expected him not to tell me the amount. Was I surprised when he did! I laughed and told him that he was known as a no tell doc. He laughed and said he gave up on that as long as we wouldn't be comparing our fill with someone elses. SO I left knowing that I have 4.1 cc's in the band. It did not kick in for a week. Had some swelling restriction for 48hrs then nothing. However 5 days later it is back!

Has your doctor taken a look at you under fluro? Then he would be able too see exactly what is going on

Alex my dear,
Having seen you at support group meetings I can say that you are beautiful...not old at all! Whether you stay where you are or lose more you have already won the war. Perimenapause is such a pain and it lasts forever, or so it seems. Don't let it get you down, and a few carbs don't hurt! I am sure you will hang in there and figure out how to get through this also.
Hopefully will see you next week.

the suppository is suppose to stay put. That means you have to get it above the muscle so it doesn't come out. It has to melt and be absorbed in order to work

It can take up to 2 years for your head to catch up with your body. Our brain has an image of ourselves that lingers. I also hear all the time how wonderful I look, yet I look the same to me. Knowing that it will take some time helps me to accept the compliments. I figure in a couple of years even I will will get to enjoy the change. You are doing remarkable work.....and you look great!
