1. I just want to post that I have been banded sice nov 07, got prego jan 08, had a 7lb 7oz healthy baby girl Oct 08. I am still b feeding and plan to past 1 yr. i only had 1 fill and never got an unfill. gained 15 lbs dur pregnancy and currently below my pre prego weight. about 45lbs below pre band weight. Im doing great and so is baby girl. she is in the 75 percentile with no formula supplements. Only breastmilk. So it can be done:thumbup:

  2. i am 31 weeks now, i posted a few months ago wondering if my pain was band or baby related. well I found out that since everything was shifting around inside, thats where my pains were coming from. i still have the pain occaisionally at night when I lay on my side. I just switch sides and sometimes that helps. It is just the pressure of the uterus pushing up on your stomach most likely. you may need an unfil. I was told to get that done, but havent as of yet. I get food down just fine. hope this helps.

  3. I was just wondering if anyone could help me figure out whats going on with me. I am a little over 15 weeks now and for the past couple of days I have been having the twinge/pain under my breast bone towards my right rib. At first I thought it was the weight of my dd breast (that are now getting larger) but it happens with or without a bra, when I lay on my side, or standing. Could something be wrong with my band or could it be all my organs are shifting to make room for my growing uterus? On a pain scale its about a 2 or 3, but enough to get my attention. Has anyone else had this? As far as eating, things go down well, I have 1.2cc in a 10cc band. So I dont think I need an unfill. Just racking my brain on what this could be, any comments would be so helpful. thanks:blushing:

  4. i am only 3 post op, just getting into the swing of working out, and loosing and lately been feeling tired. I thought it was due to not enough Protein ect. well period came on twice last month and not at all this one. Just got a fill paid almost 400.00 for and now.....PREGO

what am I gonna do? whats gonna happen to the baby? me? since I just got bsnded in Nov.

    please help:eek:

  5. the Carmen Electra pole holds up to 220.5 lbs, the one I have was about 30.00 less and it holds 200 lbs. They have stronger more expensive poles lil minx and there is even one you can lay a way about 350.00. I paid 100 for mine. It is so fun, I just got done playing n it. Oh and not to mention my DH is thrilled. He thinks its more for him than me.

  6. guess what guys, i just bought a pole:biggrin:. It came with a short dvd, that teaches you some spins but i ordered a fitness dvd from felinity fitness and i am sore all over from just trying some of the moves that they have on the you tube clip. I cant wait to get my dvd. it is supposed to come on Monday. i also just signed up for the gym, but it is no where near as fun as swinging on my pole. he he:lol:

  7. hi all,

I have the J&J. I was banded nov 10 2007. I have been doing great. No Pb's or nothing. i have lost a good amont of weight. I do think that it is time for a fill. Does anyone know how many cc's our band holds? I have stopped loosing. None this week so far. But all in all, I think I made a great choice in choosi, this band seeing that all the others are complaining about nausea/ vomiting/ pb.

  8.
Hi all,

just wanted to update and let you all know thst I am doing great after my surgery. I had an issue with my scars being very itchy about 3 weeks ago. But I started putting cotisone on it for a few days and then mederma, and now the are looking good, not red any more and starting to fade just alittle. I am excited about that. I have lost a liitle around 24lbs. I am slowing down now with my w/l, and eating a little more now so I might be ready for a fill. The staff at dr A's office sent me a x-mas card, and e-mails me from time to time. I really feel that I made a good decision by choosing this team to do my surgery. Susan was wonderful. Rosy was also very sweet. If anyone has any questions, I would be glad to help in any way.

Merry Christmas!
