  1. Thank you! Did u have to write a letter to appeal it? My plastic surgeon is no help and didn't even want to try with uhc cause he said they are never going to approve it.
  2. I had a similar experience but I couldn't keep down mushy foods once I got to that phase around the second week. My doc put a scope down my throat and dilated where my intestine was attached to the pouch. It was to narrow. This was an easy peasy procedure and I have had 0 problems since. I am 8 weeks out now. I'm actually shocked your doc hasn't done this already.
  3. @likijo Probably need a breast lift not reduction and I don't think insurance will cover is lift. Probably about $8000.
  4. Anyone had experience with a reduction and United healthcare covering it??
  5. Congrats all! I had my revision on May 7th and I like y'all had the feelings. I am 37 lbs down and 19 away from goal. I did have to have my intestine dilated because it was to small and I was having hard tine getting food thru with solids. After having the scope done to fix, I have had no problems. If i didn't sound bad saying it, I would tell all the pre bandsters not to do the band.
  6. I have been using gnc lean 25 chocolate since before my surgery may 7th and I have no problems. It's my favorite. Gnc does have a money back guarantee just in case. Hope it wasn't the shake though.
  7. @@sweetnell @@Tgarden Thank you both so much for your feedback!
  8. Have you tried allergy medicine?
  9. Thank you guys do much!! I had my surgery may 7th and these medicine questions aren't ever needed until after doc hours, lol! You guys are so helpful and my nose isn't running anymore
  10. You are a lifesaver! Thank you!
  11. Can I have Claritin cause my nose won't stop!!! *Bypass surgery
  12. Can I have Claritin cause my nose won't stop!!! *Bypass surgery
  13. Not suppose to cause after surgery you aren't allowed. They don't want you dealing with withdrawals after surgery. It will be hard enough to get liquids in and caffeine dehydrates.
  14. It is going well. I haven't tried solids yet, but it seems like I'm more hungry. Probably my Tom though, lol. I have eaten puréed homemade Soup I made and tried chili puréed, which was something new and did great. He took biopsies and I will get those results the first week of July. The dilation must have worked! Thank you for checking up on my. It means a lot!
  15. Yes it is caffeine withdrawals!! I had a migraine the first 3 days. Day 4 I felt so much better and no headache. I am 6 weeks post ops and still have not had caffeine. Doing great!
  16. My doc had me do a 2 week liquid diet to shrink you liver. I was able to have 3-5 Protein shakes, broth, sf Popsicles and sf Jello & that's it. I liked chocolate GNC Lean 25 Protein powder. I'm not sure if u out me together with the other post, but I also have Barrett's. I had a revision from lapband to bypass. Bypass has been way easier than the band surgery.
  17. Hey, I have Barrett's also & had the bypass instead of the sleeve. (:
  18. Me too! I love chili!!
  19. Let me know if I can help on your journey.
  20. Congrats!!! I had mine may 7 th and it was truly a breeze. Not what I expected at all.
