I'm 2 days post op and it seems I feel everything I swallow. I also had a hernia. I don't feel hungry at all it's more of me wanting to guzzle down water but I can't. The sipping is something to get use to I tell ya. -

I've only taken one pain pill since coming home. It's more of the gas pains than anything. I was told the pain pills won't really help for that. My incisions aren't so bad it's the gas that's trapped in my chest and shoulders. -

Yes I had a hernia as well. This AM it seems some of the gas is releasing so I'm happy about that. -

I'm getting sleeved 9/30 hoping to feel more comfortable with my sleeve by thanksgiving. I know everyone is different but would love to know how many weeks it took you to feel some sense of normalcy at food base functions. Im told I'd be the only one feeling a bit awkward but others won't notice how little I'm eating or not eating. Any thoughts or helpful information getting thru the holiday season would be great.

I'm so excited, anxious, nervous and everything else that comes along with it. I could not believe the call I got today after everything was submitted just Friday. She said your approved and let's pick your date. ????????. September 30th here I come.
