  1. I live in DC and wouldn't mind setting something up at all! Maybe we can all meet up at a park? I'll look into the Facebook page setup and then I can post the link here on this thread so we can share photos of our items and those that can't meet up, May be able to arrange something in the future. I will look into a meet up place and see whose available. I'm thinking maybe a Saturday, or Sunday?
  2. Maybe we can create a Facebook page for the DMV area? Make it a closed group? Where we can post pics of our clothes and arrange meetups?
  3. I was actually born In Paula Valley and most of my family still live in OK. I can reach out to some folks I know in OKC if you'd like? Let me know.
  4. I have a ton of jeans and some shirts and a few pair of shoes. For those of you in the DMV area, maybe we can arrange a meetup? What do y'all think?

  11. Hi guys, Just wondering if there were any resources for the DC/MD/VA area. I'm in DC and have gone to a couple of thrift stores but things seem so dated. Any help would be appreciated!
  12. I'm obsessed with my body changes. Everything from how much I pee to my hair shedding. I find myself thinking every side effect that could happen might happen if I deviate from my meal plan and eat a Dorito! I weigh daily and I am concerned I might be stalling. I don't want to fail at weight loss this time. I'm trying to calm down.
  13. I love this! I'm 3 months post op and about 50lbs lighter. My shape has changed and I'm starting to notice the little things....

  16. My hair just this week started shedding...a lot. Any ideas on how to stop it? My protein is high, I needed to add in some fruits and veggies more per my doctor.
  17. Still new to the area but I love in DC! Not sure how far that is from Richmond though. I was sleeved 12/19/13. Congrats on your upcoming procedure! It would be nice to meet fellow sleevers in the area!
  18. I'm down! Share your tips! I'm upping my protein and goin to add in some more vigorous exercise. Feel free to PM! I promise not to stalk you....-@
  19. Hahaha (0_0)! I'm afraid of a stall. How do you get out of one? How much have you lost?!
  20. Hi everyone! I was sleeved December 19, 2013! I had a rough time during Christmas when my auntie pulled that Mac and cheese out the oven. With my new eating habits I still eat a lot of chicken, turkey and some pork. Nothing cried which hearts my heart sometimes but it's for the best. Recently I was able to enjoy about 1/4 cup of cheese grits. It was a nice treat and so are collard greens with turkey. I am more aware of what I eat obviously, and passing on the pies, cookies and fried foods that frequent the family gatherings. Sometimes I'll even take a tiny bit of everything and start with the protein, by the time I get to the "good stuff" I'm full! My hair well, it's been drier than usual and my skin has actually been clearer than ever. I'm thinking it's the up In fluids. I've lost a total of 68.5lbs. My husband actually called me skinny he's ridiculous I'm 248lbs! It's been interesting to listen to family claim I'm "too" skinny or shouldn't lose anymore. I just think of how unhealthy I was before and how much better I feel now. I'm doing this for me and for my kids while I miss those fish frys I don't miss the back pain, aches, belly rolls and back fat!
  21. I liked cream of wheat with a little bit of fake butter and honey
  22. Wishing you the best. Stay positive and focused on your goals. Hoping it works out for you!
