  1. @Berry78 I am going to go and get a copy of the report and film and have another look at it for my own peace of mind. Thank you!

@Airstream88 I am eating dense foods with no problem at week 5. I am sensing a little fullness but thats it. :-(

@klingie84 You will do fine! Prayers for success being sent your way! xoxo

@1Day1Life4Now THANK YOU!!!! My doctor did say that after my 3rd time of accusing him of not doing the surgery, and your confirmation makes me feel better. ALOT better. Now I know what to expect. Its still a little upsetting but...hey it is what it is.

    THANKS GUYS!!!!!

  2. Soooo....I *supposedly* had revision from sleeve to bypass on April 3rd. I started my post op week 5 yesterday. I have only lost 13lbs. I have no restriction and can eat anything. I can chug liquids...no problem. My sleeve had developed into a hiatal hernia and created a pouch that the dr removed. Aside from the pain from the incisions and sutured muscles, I feel nothing. I have asked the dr repeatedly was he sure that he did the bypass and he said yes. I am staying under 1000 calories, low carbs and getting in my Protein. My liquids are at about 55oz. I just looked at my Upper GI report from after surgery and I am thinking about calling the radiology dept to confirm that I did indeed have gastric bypass. I have no dumping, no nausea...nothing. My weight has been at the same weight since week 2 post op. It fluctuates daily: 1lb lost one day, 3lb gain the next day, etc. Ireakky just feel like I am on a diet. All of this for nothing!! :(

  3. @CurvyCakes Yes mam. I started my liver shrink diet yesterday. Surgery is scheduled for Monday morning. My dr didn't give me formal pre-op instructions though. All he said was drink Protein Shakes. He kept mentioning that this isn't my first rodeo and I know what to do. Now that I think about, I'm not sure how I feel about that...I need some type of direction!! I feel like Im just winging it.

  4. I am currently in the process of trying to get approved by Aetna for revision surgery from sleeve to bypass. I have GERD, regain and a "deformed fundus" (which looks like an addition pouch up top/ shaped like the letter "P") from my pouch stretching abnormally. My surgeons office submitted the pre-cert to Aetna on Friday.

I am just wanting to hear people's Aetna revision experiences.

    Thanks!

  6. For revision surgery, i met their complication requirement so this isn't looked at as needing to do the original requirements. I currently have the sleeve and if i had to meet their original requirements my BMI isn't high enough nor do i have a comorbidity. So even if i dont get approved for rny, i still have to get the hernia removed and the extra, deformed part of my stomach removed. I hope that makes sense.
