  1. I had surgery on Sept 26, 2014. My weight was 238 and the lowest i got to was 157. I am currently averaging 160-163...I think its mostly Water weight, but not matter what type of weight it maybe, it psychologically distributing. Other than that, life has been great. Still pretty much control my eating and exercise. I never really made it to my goal of 153, but I was close enough. Now my goal is just to maintain. I feel great, very active and not afraid to leave the house. This was the best decision done .

  2. Good day! I haven't been here for awhile. Today marks six months since I had Gastric Sleeve Surgery. I've lost close to 80pounds and still loosing! From 237 to 159! The loosing has slowed down though. I go to the gym at least 4-5 times a week. Always hungry, but a little bite here and there gets me satisfied. This is the best thing I've ever decided to do...I feel great, all my lab test are great, and look good too! I'm not afraid to go out of my house anymore...I enjoy being with people...more outgoing! Good luck to those that are about to have surgery and to those in the coming months. Congrats to those had surgery...you should feel as great as I!post-210081-1427387578047_thumb.jpg post-210081-14273875892978_thumb.jpg post-210081-14273876027245_thumb.jpg

  6. For some reason, I was thinking Sept 29 is my 1 month, but it was actually Sept 26. Started going to the gym about two weeks ago...no lifting yet, just cardio. No problems so far with food intake and no pain anywhere. My pre- surgery weight Sept 24 was 237. As of today I am 197! So far it's been a smooth ride... Especially the weight loss! I think at week 3, I thought I was hitting the dreaded "stall", but was wrong! Knock on wood...please no stall soon! My wife and sons are now noticing that I'm getting smaller and smaller. Good luck everyone!

  9. Today marks 3 weeks! Am down 31 pounds from 237 to 206! I think I finally hit the 3rd week stall, as I've been staying at 206 for the last couple days...not worried as I was expecting this. So far it's been smooth sailing. I will go back to work this Monday. As always happy recovery for everyone and have a nice weekend

  10. I was sleeved Sep 26 and recovery has been well! Have lost about 24 pounds since surgery. And my doc said I could start soft/puréed foods. I had my wife scramble an egg and I was only able to take a couple bites, not because that was all I could take, but more afraid, that I might mess something up down there. Got my appt with my VA doc to start my B12 injections, as recommended by my surgeons office, I also got, from VA doc too, prescriptions for all the daily Vitamin supplements, but I'm scared to take them whole and I hate the crushed versions...any suggestions? But all in all recovery has not been bad
