Great to read how many of you out there had it done in March! You are all an inspiration to me!

Yay!!! I was banded today!! Lost 16 lbs on pre-op diet. Port site is the sorest! I feel pretty good! He to report at 8..wheeled to OR at ten..left at 3..could have been sooner if I could have used the bathroom.

That's how I felt, and still do almost a week post op. I flipped out on my husband for eating in front of me. You just have to keep your eye on the prize and remember it's only temporary, and for you own benefit. I tried different things like juicing, and broth.

Congratulations, your looking great! I got banded on 3/17/14, these days are challenging, I hope I gets better after my first fill. What are you going to do to Celebrate?

I saw a YouTube video where someone drained the broth from chicken noodle Soup. The broth is a bit thicker and much richer than regular broth. She said it was filled and tasted like fried chicken. Lol.. I hope you find something that works. My date is in 3 days! I have to do 2 day clear liquid before date.. I'm gonna try that liquid fried chicken!!

Congrats to all of the recently banded. It's 8 days post-op for me and my shoulder pain has been gone for two days. Feeling good, more energy, and sticking to my liquid diet faithfully. This is going to happen!
