Update: I'm not having any protein drinks because they all taste horrible. Does any one know if there is a calcium citrate gum mike vitamin? I can't take my calcium chewable bite ...yucky. I barely take my multivitamin and I love my probiotic vitamin. I'm only drinking water and juicy juice and I'm not hungry. I will call my doctor tomorrow

I Bought all my vitamins from Bariatric Advantage. I got the Calcium citrate chewy bite I'm suppose to take 3times a day...I can't even take 1,they make me nauseous. My protein shake don't taste good I've tried a few Different ones. My multivitamin is not to bad of a taste. Now even water taste bad. Such I get over the counter Vitamins? Maybe they will taste better? Today I'm 3weeks out and next week I can start soft foods I'm hoping They taste better. Is anyone else having this problem?

I'm so happy for you feeling great! Today I started back on protein shake Thank God I was so tired of all liquids. I see we had our surgery one day apart. How was your doctor visit?

Thank ladies for your words of encouragement. Today I went to see the surgeon for my 1week post op appointment.I got a real good picker upper...I lost 13lbs in 7 days! Wow I did not believe in my scale. Tomorrow I'm allow to start on my protein Shakes I'm so glad I can have something added to the liquid diet.

Just going to the doctors office today drained me I felt wipe out.

Im 7 days out I had GB. And right now I'm on liquids and ice pops and clear broth. I have to dissolve my B12and multivitamin in some broth yuck it taste horrible....I tried using Gatorade yucky! I'm not on any protein. I already have the chewable vitiates but cant use them yet. On Friday I can start my protein drinks... I hope that's helps me. I feel sore I don't need pain meds anymore I have been using ice packs . What's wrong here?

It's four days since my GB surgery and I'm feeling great! I just can't wait to take these white tight stockings. I'm walking and drinking what I'm suppose too. Wednesday I will see my surgeon for my one week post check up. How weight does anyone lose During the first two weeks?

Arnold, MD - My GBP surgery was Wednesday 7/30 The surgery was 4 hrs and my recovery was 2 1/2 hrs. I do not remember being wheeled to surgery and I have no memory of recovery at all. I just remember sitting up in bed in my room. I had no pain just feeling sore and bruised my pain meds work great. I came home Friday I feel very tired. I have been walking around the house to relieve the gas. Tomorrow I will take a walk in the morning. I have my first post-op appt Wednesday 8/7 my dr is wonderful and so was the hospital. I would highly recommend him. So far this journey has been great. I love reading all the forums and learning new things on this site.
