  1. I've only lost 28 pounds since surgery 5/13/14. I was stalled for almost 3 months. No matter how you slice it. ... that's slow. This is about the rate I lost on Weight Watchers. The only thing that keeps me from going crazy is the hope that I can keep it off this time.
  2. Wow! You are one tough cookie! My thoughts are with you.
  3. My nut told me I can swallow them whole at 2 months out.
  4. Wow! I wish that was me. My incisions are large and I've was left open so it scarred terribly.
  5. I stalled from month 3 to month 5 1/2. The way i broke the stall was to increase my calories from 650 to 1000-1200.
  6. I didn't know that about Larabars. Thanks:)
  7. My bmi was 38.6 at the time of surgery. I am losing extremely slow! I was stalled for almost 3 months though.
  8. My nutritionist told me I can take regular vitamins. You may want to ask if you have to use chewables. I couldn't stand the taste of them.
  9. I have celiac disease so that takes a bunch of them out of the running, but I do eat and love Quest bars. .. apple pie flavor is my fave.
  10. My surgery was on the 13th and I began losing my hair a couple weeks ago. I've cut it really short and it's super thick so I hope to be able to hide a lot of the damage.
  11. Yes it does make sense. Thanks for looking it up.
  12. I have celiac and lactose intolerance too. My lactose intolerance got much worse after the sleeve. I wonder why?
  13. Try pushing and holding down on the arrow on the bottom right of your phone. That should bring your apps back.
  14. 4 days post op. Feeling much better today except I'm fatigued. My red blood cell count was low-almost didn't get released because of it. Muscle pain when moving and my diaphragm area is still tender and makes it hard for me to take deep breaths. That is from the hiatal hernia repair. I've eaten/drank much better today but still not even coming close to hitting the recommended amounts.
  15. See if you can get a script for zophran. That is the only thing that helped me.
  16. On this side. I was sleeved yesterday. I had a rough start but things are much better now. Did anyone turn diabetic during surgery? I did. My numbers went from fasting 77(my whole adult life) to 134 during surgery. They had to give me insulin twice. My numbers have been dropping all day and they said hopefully this won't be an issue for me. I hope not too!
  17. Thank you all! I'm having quite a bit of pain in one of my stab sites. Makes it difficult to bend or get comfy in bed. Nausea had been the worst and they have given me several drugs to combat that Never be afraid to ask. He found a hernia once he got in which didn't show up on the upper gi. I'm feeling much better today and I hope to feel even better tomorrow.
  18. I was sleeved yesterday. Feeling pretty sore in one stab site. And the nausea and heartburn are killing me. My surgeon checks twice for leaks and I have none thank god. I don't have the bad had at all. I'm just really tired. Been up walking a little.
  19. Today is my surgery day. I'm so excited. I will be leaving for the hospital in about an hour. Wish me luck!
  20. My surgery is today at 1200 central time. Prayers and good thoughts welcome.
