Hi everyone. I am having my surgery on May 13th, and would love to wait it out with you all. I'm super excited but very nervous as well. I start my 2 week 800 calorie(ugh!) pre op diet on April 29. That's gonna be tough.

They called! My surgery date is May 13th, so excited!

I kept calling and finally asked if I could check online. I could and refreshed the page a million times until it said approved. Maybe you have the option to check online too. Good luck!

I got approved by my insurance! Still don't have a date yet though; should be a couple days.

I noticed the same thing. Yeah I wonder when we find the time to eat. I never eat at work... too busy.

Mrs. Fuller I will definitely let you know. I'm calling Monday just to check. By the way, I'm a RN too. Cabin girl Thank you for the encouragement. I can't wait to cross my legs again and sit comfortably in a booth at a restaurant.

You're not the only one; I did it too. I should have had my surgery in Nov., but wanted to try to lose on my own one more time. I joined Weight Watchers and did lose 25 pounds but started to gain again. That was the final straw for me. Thankfully I was able to just pick up where I left off. Right now I am anxiously awaiting approval from my insurance. Should get an answer by next Wednesday. This wait is so hard!

Hi there. I'm waiting on approval from my insurance (just checked today and it's still pending, ugh!). The hospital told me that I'm looking at a May surgery if I get approved. Fingers crossed. Would love to hang around and wait with you all. This waiting is making me terribly anxious.
