I had mine on March 19. The first few days were absolutely awful. Lots of gas pain. Now I am two weeks out and I find I am really missing food-especially pizza. I know I did the right thing. I know I needed to do this, but it feels like I'll never be able to eat again. Anyone else feel that way? pudding and yogurt just isn't cutting it. I didn't think I would feel this way.. I thought I would have the surgery and not want to eat-at least for a while.

Posting your situation here is a great first step to getting back on track! I know I did the same thing myself last week.
Yep, I vote for Protein shakes, limit/eliminate carbs. Ditch all trigger foods for now. Mine is Peanut Butter.
Talk with your therapist. Talk to all of us. We've all been there, and we all struggle from time to time.
Not to spoil the ending for you, but everything is going to be OK.

This is it everyone I go in for surgery at 8:30am today for my sleeve omg what am I doing. Its 6am here in jersey crying happy scared. My husband is driving me 2 the hospital in freehold as we speak. I kno gods with me all is going 2 be well! Here we go wish me luck will post sat when I get home!
