  1. Yea somtimes I eat to fast myself, I just try to take me time and remind my self to eat slow.i always on the go so it's really hard for me too. It's Easier for me to eat early , then it is to eat in afternoon . So I try to eat as much as I can cause at the end of the day I can't. I'm still learning my band so I just go with it .


  2. I was banded on sept 2 just checking to see how everyone is doing that was banded around the same time. I'm stiil learning my band . I learn something new everyday . One thing I know it's hard to for me to get all my Protein in. But what works for me is when I wake up in the morning that's when I can drink the most so I try to drink my Protein Shake then. According to my scale I've lost 8lbs since surgery . But all scales r different so I'll wait till I get my first fill on oct 1st. So how's everyone else doing ??


  3. I was banded Aug 28. Every day gets better. Most of the pain from gas and surgery have dissipated. I do have the cravings and get hungry. Mostly I have terrible itching around my incisions, but on the inside where they said they put stitches. I've tried to feel my port, and I don't feel it, but I'm not pushing hard at all. I don't want to cause any damage.

    . Yes I was looking for my port too it's rite under the big incision . I feel great also just trying to learn how to eat slow . I'm on soft foods now . My life has totally changed now . I just can't get up and go . I got to make sure I get my first shake down . But I love it do far !!


  4. Sylvia do you still feel weak a little? I hope you don't have to strain while your giving care, you don't want to bust ant stitches.

    I feel pretty good I have the lap band and I have 4 incisions one where they fixed a hiatal hernia, didn't have sticch , glue over it. I'm 6 days out and feel grat now. So hopefully by the 16 I can be back to full duty .


  5. Does "The Green Zone" really exist? I am about 2 months post-op with 2 small fills. I watch what I eat, and I am thankful for my lap band. But there are days when I get hungry an hour or two after I eat... I stick to Protein and count calories. What I'm asking is, will there really come a day when I will have a meal and then be satisfied for up to 4 hours until my next meal? It sounds hard to believe considering the struggles I am having. Thanks.

    . How much have u lost in 2 months ?? Just curious
