  2. I am also just starting the process and I know how nerve racking it can be. I might be looking at getting the surgery in 6-8 weeks or 6-7 months and I think as much as I want it to happen fast and soon so I can start living a life more time may be just what I need time to figure out what role food has played in my life and what role it will play after surgery. I think the best thing you can do is follow your doctors orders research research research the procedure you feel is best for you and your body, and try to stay positive!!! You will make it thru this

  4. had my initial consult today with my surgeon and felt amazing!!! He said we can have this process done in 6-8 weeks eeeeekkkk thats with me paying 20% if I choose to let my secondary insurance pay the 20% it's going to take an additional 6 months Im a bit torn if waiting is the right decision or staying on the fast track... has anyone else had to make this decision???

  9. Has anyone gotten approved with medicare insurance I have medicare and medicaid but was told medicare would be my primary! Just wondering how long it took to become approved using medicare? I have my first appointment with the surgeon this thursday I also need questions to ask him... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated sammy
