I got through a shake and about ? 6 oz melted ice. So far today. Where did you find injury products?

I didn't thin it because it sort of dissolves in your mouth and I was using the thick Greek too. It is very sweet though. I got through 2 oz.

Janey - I think we are doing ok not to hit the goals at just 4 days out. My nut said it's different for every person how many days/weeks it takes to get there. Also I watched a video online that showed the swollen stomach after surgery and only a trickle of fluids going through. So I don't want to damage anything...yikes! I had yogurt today, even though it was thick it went down very smoothly in tiny bites. I found a baby spoon in my kitchen, it's perfect! Little bites...so cute!

I'm taking 2-3 weeks, but leaning toward 3. I just want to be very ready and not a "problem" at work

I'm 5 days post op and can't think of anything I would want to eat! Didn't have a pre op diet and so tired of shakes already.

Earnest- so you can't take 2 weeks?

Can you explain the brushes, oils, and collagen powder. Does it help and what is the process?

Oh also I walked around the grocery store and I found some soups. My fav was leek and potato. It was real thin and so tasty. Unfortunately I bought some other things that don't really work because of sugar like sherbet. Oh well.

I have met goals for protein but not liquid. Now I'm worried that I've tried to take in too much too soon so I'm starting to sip again. I sure don't want to do any damage. I think they gave me a week or more to meet goals, maybe because of the swelling. I still have a gnawing dull pain mid back. But it comes and goes.

I had a friend who had to leave the room when her family had pizza and wings. Luckily my husband cooks not so much to my liking so I'm ok. Now walk me past Gardunos (Mexican food) and I'm gonna have trouble ????

I'm 4th day post op. Very tired of shakes and how slow they go down. For a treat I bought aus jus soup from Arby's. Too much fat I'm sure but it went down smooth! And only 32 cents lol

Thanks for responding crazyjaney! It's easy to fear the worst. Can you believe we are on the other side?

I had surgery 3 days ago, haven't really needed pain med at home, but now having dull pain and a bit of throbbing in mid back to the left of my spine. Not terrible just bothersome. Anyone else experience this?

Hi Earnest! I'm 2 days post op, actually had a better day yesterday don't know why. I got in all my protein and almost all my fluids today so feeling good about that. Still having a pain in the middle of my back, but not using any pain meds. Did you have pain there?

Hello everyone! Good luck today crazyjaney, thinking about u your surgery day! I got through my first day and night beautifully. Can't wait to go home!

Crazyjaney I had mine today. Not as bad as I expected. Haven't needed much pain med at all. Very pleased.

Tomorrow is my surgery day. I can't believe I just wrote that! I'm calm but pretty sure I'll bawl at the hospital. I didn't have a pre op diet but haven't really been interested in food the last few days. Not sure if it's nervousness or just want to get it started. My best to everyone!

I'm tomorrow morning! Yes I feel the same, not too nervous anymore just ready to be on the other side too!
