Ugh... Had my PreOp appointment, blood draw and met with anesthesia. The 'ugh' part is that I came home and ate stuff NOT on my liquid diet!! Mostly high protein stuff, but sheesh! Smh. I suck! Stress sucks!!

Thanks for this post! I have been sort of sabotaging myself these past couple of days too. I did so well the first week, and now that I'm into the second week, I'm starving, and definitely stress eating left and right. It's making me wonder how I will do post op if I can't control things now. I can totally relate to the "ugh" comment. I'm right there with you. I'm hoping to get back on the horse today. I go in on April 2. Really trying not to freak out. I just keep reminding myself what my life was like before I gained weight and what my life is like now. I want my old life back, cuz this, this isn't living.

Surgery is in 4 days and I dont feel prepared for it at all

Thanks, Miss Mac for your analogy. I am scheduled for a sleeve next week, and as it gets closer, I get more nervous. I really appreciate your candor and your analogy was a great one. It's true that most of us have spent a lot of years feeling unworthy and beating ourselves up, so it's hard to actually do something for ourselves. Best of luck to everyone being sleeved in the near future!

1 week until surgery but before that the dreaded "Clear Liquids" diet....

Super happy I got this surgery, and that more and more people are supporting me. I am here back to work today after surgery this past wednesday and feel good so far, but I am sure the tired feeling will come on at some point.
