Hi, I am starting my journey all over again.
I had a self funded gastric band in 2006 and it was the best thing I have ever done. I started at 22 stone and reached 8 stone 13 last year.
Unfortunately by band eroded and stopped working in August 2013. It was removed January 9th and I now stand at 16 stone ready for my sleeve in April.
The last 6 months have been difficult but I'm not giving up. There were very few forums 10 years ago and I have found this site brilliant for advice. I'm still unsure if the sleeve is the correct surgery for me but I still have a little time to decide.
