Just came out of a 2 week stall. Thank God the scale started moving again!

I waited until after my surgery because I didn't want to be bored with it, so I kept it as a special treat - OMG. I have never tasted anything so gross in my life. I barely got past the smell and when I tasted it, I really wanted to throw up. I was convinced it would be awesome because every one loved it - except me. I have the jarred broth that you mix with Water - way better to me. Sorry Unjury chicken Soup lovers. 11 days out and I've mastered Cream of Chicken and Cream of Mushroom soup, Cream of Wheat (plain) with a scoop of chocolate Protein mix and tonight I had the refried Beans with a dollop of FF cream cheese. So far everything is going well, but I gotta tell you......Every time I eat something new I'm terrified. I HATE throwing up to begin with and I have such a fear of it with my new tummy.

I am 2 weeks 3 days post op. Lost 17 lbs so far. Started going to the gym everyday since last week Wednesday but haven't really lost anything since I started working out. (Hmm??) I am a little frustrated right now but that is another story. I went to the gym for workout again today. While at the gym I get a text from the hubby. "Can you pick up KFC on your way home for dinner? " Ummm what?? Seriously? WTH!! Never went through a drive thru and picked up food and didn't get to eat it didn't eat it. The car ride home was torture. It smelled so good. But I kept repeating to myself "I am strong I am strong"

Had surgery 2/27. Two weeks ago today. I lost 16.5 lbs. Woo hoo!! 6 inches overall. I am wearing clothes that I hadn't worn in a while cause they didn't fit. Very excited! A little nervous about being at work with a new routine. The crying and thoughts of not "making the right decision" the first couple of days are just a memory now. Went to the gym for the first time yesterday. Spent 30 minutes on the treadmill. Couldn't believe it. Things are looking good so far! I want to say thanks to all you guys on this site. Reading your posts gave me a lot of strength the first few days when I was down in the dumps. Happy now!

I am 1 week and 5 days post op and I spent the first 3 days so depressed and crying that I started thinking that I was going to regret my decision. Be patient...read the posts on this site. It will help and you will find that you are never alone and there is always someone that has had a similar situation. Good luck!!

I'm 12 days out and the only thing I can say is try gasx strips but in reality it's just going to take time to work it's self out. I can't believe your Dr would let you go back to work a couple days post surgery. IMHO I think it is too soon. Hope everything goes well for you
