  1. I am a mom who has had the vgs last summer… so happy with it. My 16 yr old daughter is very over weight as well. I haven't told her about my sleeve not wanting to cause any more emotional issues than she has. Any advise? tell her or don't? recommend the sleeve or wish you wouldn't have had it??

Hrm.. well if you do tell her.. then she may want to get it as well. "Well ,if mom got it, why can't I?". On the other hand she's probably going to be happy that you're happy, and know what she's going through. I say if you plan on getting it for her too; tell her. If not; don't. ^^

  2. So my surgery is in 9 hours and I'm sitting in my room crying like a little baget I have severe panic disorder and when I had lapband surgery 6 years ago (first ever surgery) I felt like I was suffocating when they put the oxygen mask on. I tried to jump off the surgery table then in 10 seconds I was out but I swear I have post traumatic stress cuz now all I can think of is going in there tomorrow and that suffocating feeling. I feel like I fought so hard to get this surgery now I'm being a big cry baby

A "crybaby" is definitely not the word you should be using. Surgery is a scary thing, but you went through it once. & are strong enough to get another surgery done. You should give yourself an attagirl. I have panic attacks too. So just listen some relaxing music, breath slowly, and think of the brighter things that could happen when they put that mask on. Good luck! ^^
