  1. My stomach is so swollen right now... hoping I didn’t injure it.
  2. I haven’t eaten today either it’s so bad
  3. It hurts so bad... 😭😭😭 I’m picking up my kids then we’re heading to the store to buy miralax. If that doesn’t work I’m heading to the ER because it’s not just constipation it’s impacted... it was stuck stuck.

  6. Yea I haven’t had a BM in a week. I’m bleeding, working on water but sodium in food. I did have a treat that had some carbs in it. Im making a list of breakfasts lunches and dinners that are low carb high protien. I expected the stall I didn’t expect to gain weight.

  8. Hope everyone is doing well! Chellnc hope things get better for you! So I’m capitalizing on my communuties overgrowth. I live in a Mormon community and they all have gardens and all grow way too much. All that over growth I’m watching for posts. Just scored 3 summer squash to make taco boats with!! Woo hoo! I now have everything for a healthier taco night without having to spend money on it!! Which is super tight right now. Trying to figure out meals that aren’t repeats of my soups for the coming weeks too without having to grocery shop is hard... I can’t have everything we have.
  9. I swapped to a large cup full of water and it worked out well. Not getting the belchyness anymore.
  10. The phone ones are super unreliable if I move my phone while in my bed it thinks I’m walking. I found one that I like but have to purchase it again.
  11. Probably drank it too fast. That’s what happens to me. I feel tight when I’m not getting enough water. I also wake up with my stomach feeling tight if I don’t drink enough. I can get in about 8 oz an hour most days. I need to get a step counter but I’m waiting on the exercise and just trying to go outside of the house at least 1x a day to get some walking in.

    Starting to plan thanksgiving & Christmas

    My husband and kids are on board I mean my extended family who don’t actually give a shit. Now while my kids and husband are working on changing over to healthier food that I can eat every day it’s a special day. I’m sorry you don’t understand that. I hope one day you do.
  14. So I know it’s early but I have to do some extra prep this year because of my surgery. I actually usually cook 👩‍🍳 thanksgiving dinner every year (and Christmas) and Christmas morning we have cinnamon rolls. Obviously that’s not something I can do this year. Part of me is wondering if I’m just going to cook it like everyone wants it then go cry in a corner. What do you guys do? I have to submit a menu to the family by beginning of October so it can be debated, revamped, and planned for financially since we have to work around a bunch of different work schedules. Just some guidance and suggestions would help. I was thinking about making eggs Benedict for breakfast Xmas morning for me (paleo style with avocado at the bottom, and instead of an English muffin a sweet potato hash-brown, smoked ham and mushrooms mushrooms, and homemade hollandaise sauce (maybe????) sorry off track!!
  15. I drank a little to settle my stomach but not much and then set a timer for 30 minutes before drinking water again. I also break the rules if something goes down too hard like I didn’t chew enough and drink just a tiny amount to make it go down.

  17. I ate cheese 🧀😩 I just woke up from my nap. Hubby’s bringing me left over enchilada. Which I am super slowly eating.
  18. Ugh so I ate too fast which caused me t throw up and end up tired. Imthis realky is a hard change
  19. So I had 3 grams of fiber yesterday (not surprising since my diet doesn’t have much in the way of veggies in it yet. But I had 60 grams of protien and 32 grams of carbs. That’s a good amount. I also hit my water goal. After reviewing it I know I don’t have to add the protien powder (yay!!) since I’m doing good on that.
  20. I was focusing on water. At a week post op I was so dehydrated. I wasn’t able to drink much water. So instead of taking protien drinks I was trying to just get my water in. I’m doing better now and am not as dehydrated I’m still working on it. Yes carbs will cause weight to not come off. When carbs are processed they turn to glucose in our blood and if you don’t drop enough insulin it’s stored for later. Go get fat sick and nearly dead. It’s seriously a great documentary. It puts SAD in perspective.
  21. Wow!! I couldn’t do that!! I’m so exhausted all the time I will walk some but I can’t do much.
  22. I didn’t have any calories for 2 weeks. Everyone is different. You will lose the weight it will just take time :)
  23. I’m so broke right now, so I’m considering instead of jointing a gym at 6 weeks maybe I should join yoga glo or something. I have some room in my bedroom and my own yoga mat and at 6 weeks I want to start that for a month or so. See how that goes. Then join my kickboxing gym as soon as my surgeon approves
  24. Ellie im 19 days out and lost 21.8 lbs between surgery and today. I’ve lost 31.8 total since my pre op started.
