  4. I was sorta being bad. I was just smelling a dinner roll dreaming of eating it. I didn’t but omg I want it so bad 😩

  6. I think I got lucky. I only gains 1 lb in the hospital I’m losing easily 1+ lb a day. The first days I lost 2 or so.

  9. Go on amazon and buy 8 oz take out containers. Make one round of whatever and put 1/4 cup in each of them. Easy peasy :)
  10. I’m considering buying a small in this one shirt at hot topic otherwise I have nothing. I’m hoping sometime next fall I’ll be close to my goal weight. Once I hit that stage I’m flying out to Austin to clothes shop with my bff and also check out the area with her since hub and i are moving there maybe I’ll wait idk
  11. Call your doctor I thought 4 oz was the max and I had to wait 2 weeks (this coming Wednesday to come off the clear liquid)

    I didn’t get steri strips mine were glued shut. But my last surgery had steri strips and they stayed on for about 2 weeks before they fell off.
  13. On day 4 of my pre op diet I was so hungry... I went to Texas road house— I ate 4 rolls, an entire order of the cheese fries (yummy) a 20 oz blue rare ribeye 🥩 a loaded baked sweet potato, and the house salad. The salad and fries with their ranch which is my all time favorite ranch in the world. Yummy 😋 on the Sunday before my surgery I got Arby’s. 2 classic roast beef sandwiches, 2 large orders of their potato cakes, one order of the cheese sticks, a large fry and a large Dr Pepper and one apple turnover. After surgery I was super good untill 2 days ago. Someone brought us chicken tenders. I’m not cleared yet for my soft foods and I took a small bite of the tender (after removing the breeding) it was the best chicken I’ve ever had 😍😍😍 lol.

  19. Overall it’s a lot of weight. You might be having a stall. It’s called a plateau and the way Around it is to switch things up—instead of going 10x a week go do some hiit or CrossFit 3 days a week and strength training 3 days a week. As for food look at your diet, while calories are low make some changes like swap from red meat to fish, try some plant based protien drinks etc. swapping it up once in a while should help keep your body from getting complacent.

Also 100 days of real food by Lisa Leake, pretty intense by Danica Patrick, The Paleo Diet by Loren Cordain, Practical Paleo by Diane Sanfilippo, The Paleo Cure (formerly Your Personal Paleo Code) by Chris Kresser, The Paleo Approach by Sarah Ballantyne, The Paleo Solution by Robb Wolf, the whole 30 by Melissa Heartwig, it starts with food by Melissa heartwig and food freedom forever by Melissa heartwig. Sorry long list but totally good reads and super educational in the food department
  21. I think any calories you burn working out don’t count towards your daily total. The idea is to create a deficit. Your body takes x amount of calories to run each day from breathing to making your heart beat. That’s called your metabolism. If you have a low metabolism it takes less to run. Eating provides the calories for it to run. If you eat less than you need to run it creates a deficit and you use reserves (fat) to do so. If you eat more you store the extra. When you excercise you need extra calories for that time. So if you need say 1500 a day to run but burn 100 during a work out you need 1600 to run. If you’re only taking in 1000 calories you pull that 600 left from fat to run. 5 days of that and you lose a pound because 3000 calories is a pound. Make sense?? With RNY the idea is to lower the amount you eat and also not absorb everything that you do eat so that your caloric intake is super low causing massive weight loss.

    Ugh. Idk what just happened but I started dry heaving (hard to throw up when nothings in there) 😭😭😭 almost 2 weeks post op
