1. I should be in June sometime. My insurance requires blood work done. That will be done two months prior to surgery and when that comes back, then they will give me a surgery date. What are your feelings right now? I am excited and anxious. I wish it was time now.
2. Good luck. Congrats!
3. My husband wants to go camping in June. My surgery is in June. Is it unrealistic to have surgery , take off two weeks from work , and spend the second half of the second week camping? Not Tent camping. We have a camper. What do you all think?

5. Type stats before surgery are pretty close to mine. I am 5ft4 and 208lbs. I'm hoping I have the success you have had. Congrats again!
6. Wow. So awesome! Thank you for sharing. I wish it was time for my surgery already. 4 months still to go
7. Awesome! My friend at work and her husband got sleeved together! They are two weeks out. I am going to be sleeved in June you two are a true inspiration!
8. Having my surgery in Las Vegas in June. When I'm able I will be going to my gym at planet fitness in Henderson. It might be fun to get together!
9. I have about 8 people in my store that have had the sleeve or the band. So telling people that I work with was mostly easy. They were all thinking that my bmi would not be high enough to get approved. I am borderline 40 Bmi. Our bookkeeper is 2 wks post op and is really supportive and wanting to share everything with me to help prepare me and help me when I finally get a date for surgery. Telling my family is another story. When would it be the best time if ever to tell them? I know they are going to freak out and try to talk me out of it. Especially my mom. Is it best to wait until after the surgery? I do not know how to handle this at all. I don't want to keep it from them but at the same time I know what will come from telling them. I am leaning towards after surgery.
10. OK so based on what number 12 says if a year from surgery I lose say 80lbs. And I suffer from skin problems such as rashes and infections and document it the insurance will cover skin removal?
11. It is also used for lowering cholesterol levels and leveling blood sugar inflammation and aids in weight loss it says. The maple syrup smell sounds great to me. I spend a lot on prada candy perfume lol. I guess it's my thing to smell like sweets Lol. I also love VS candy baby!
12. That's so inspiring and impressive! Wtg!!!
13. Me too. I was told to not lose any either. But does that show lack of commitment?
14. I too am in Vegas. My Dr is Lyass
15. Huh. I did a little reading and there were all kinds of benefits listed with it. I wonder if there are different forms that are healthier than others or if it's all in how it is used
16. This is something I hope happens to me. It's so hot in Henderson NV. (Las Vegas) I hate summers here.
17. Yay for you! Good luck! I will probably be in June/July if all goes well. I'm in Las Vegas
18. OK so number 12 regarding cosmetic surgery. If after the weight loss surgery I am successful and lose a lot of weight and I have skin problems due to excess skin would the skin surgery be covered? What do you think? I have jas local 7 11 (through smith's grocery) anyone out there get approved due to rashes and infections? I've heard of this before. Not sure if that falls under This guide line or not?
19. Anyone out there heard of this or take it?
20. I am 45. 207lbs and 5'4". I have the yucky bat winged arms and an apron tummy a bit. I'm hoping it does not look horrible at the end of my journey. I am doing ab crunches and core work outs and lift weights for my arms now while waiting for surgery. I am 2 months into this 6 month wait. My Bmi is borderline so I cannot drop weight or the insurance will not cover the surgery. Still have the sleep study to do and blood work. I am so sad that I did this to my body but excited when I see the success stories after surgery. You all are amazing. Me (left )at my daughter's wedding
21. Ahhhh you've done it! On your way. I'm still waiting for my 6 months to be up. Probably June sometime. Keep us posted. I'd love to hear all about it!
22. I have to call to schedule my sleep study so I will ask then if at any time during the 6 months I drop below 40 Bmi am I In danger of not being approved. Not major weight loss. Just tend to fluctuate 5-7lbs
