1. Very impressive! Yayyyy you did it! I have surgery in July cannot wait!
2. I am at 211 and want to be at 125 in a year from surgery! Im So close to your starting weight. How tall are you? Please, tell me what you did. I want to be successful at this so bad. How old are you? I cannot wait to get my sleeve in July. You are an inspiration!
3. 3 1/2 months? Holy moly! Wow! Good job!
4. Im going to hang on to a set and look at them periodically when needed to remind myself how far I've come. I haven't had surgery yet but I have lost weight in the past and I want to never struggle again. Maybe a reminder of what size 16 looks like when I get to my goal size of 6 will help me remain on track?
5. Wow girl you are doing so well! Keep those pics coming I love it!
6. Yayyyy good luck! So excited for you! Every time I see this kind of post with a surgery date I get excited about mine and dream about being able to be where you guys are. I just want it here already so I can get the adjustment period out of the way and get on with this weight loss! So happy for you.
7. Thank you I added it!
8. I don't have a real high bmi. It's right at 40. I need to lose about 90lbs to be at 120 which I've never been at. I've been about 135. Im not sure if I'll have a skin problem but right now I have a slight apron thing going on with my stomach and fat arms I'm worried about.
9. Based on your knowledge of insurance does this mean that if I am in need of any cosmetic surgery due to skin rashes, infections, or something like that would my insurance cover it? I don't think I'll need it but just in case.
10. Isn't there a lot of salt in baking soda
11. Is heat good for the Incisions? Or is it ice that should go on it?
12. They don't give you meds in the hospital for this?
13. Excellent Thank you. They'll let me have it at the hospital? Or do you mean for when I go home?
14. I'm 211 5ft 4 I'm getting sleeved in July! You look so awesome!
15. Do you mind if I ask what your starting weight was and what your current weight is? How tall are you? I think I look similar to your before shot. You're looking so awesome!
16. I'm only having my gallbladder removed Friday and I'm scared. Gotta be brave and move forward. It's all going to pay off.
17. I plan on wearing my favorite cozy victorias secret sweat pants. A t shirt and flip flops. When if at all did they take your pre op photo?
18. I'm not trying to be secretive and I'm not ashamed of my decision. I'm embarrassed of my health and my body and where I've gotten it to. I don't like it being the focal point of a discussion and say aloud how bad I look. I want to get my surgery follow Dr orders and do something about it. Head down and focused. Every time I try to talk about it like with my husband I feel like crying. I feel like I've let myself down and him. I lost 70lbs and got into sz 10 jeans and looked good and over 2 1/2 years or so I gained it all back almost. It creeped up on me and before I knew it I was back out of control. I hope I can do this and be successful. I hate going up and down on my weight. This just is not how I want to feel or look. My feet are starting to feel like the heel spurs are coming back. I get back pain. My stomach is a mess with most things I eat (probably the gallbladder) ready for a change.
19. Good point lol. OK so gown added. Does it need to be something that buttons in the front so that they can check Incisions? Added to my list
20. OK so what needs to absolutely go into my bag for the hospital? These are things I was told so far Lip Balm Loose clothes Tooth brush/paste hair brush Slip on shoes (flip flops or slippers) Book Phone charger Pillow from home Gown that doesn't have me exposed from the back as I walk halls lol Biotene (for dry mouth) Heating pad Gasx Baby wipes
21. Chewing on fresh mint leaves is supposed to help
22. Omg wow. Good for you! Keep up the great work and keep us posted!
