  1. That's great to hear
  2. Goodnight everyone when we wake up we are all one step closer. To surgery or our goal . Whatever it is for you I wish you all the best!
  3. Way to go! I'm in July. Excited but nervous
  4. I don't have an exact date yet but my 6 months will be up in July! They say final approval from insurance takes no longer than 2 wks from the last visit then surgery is scheduled. I've been drinking tons of Water. Cut out coffee. Quit smoking last October. But my bmi is right on 40 so I can't really diet too much. After I get the final approval and surgery date I plan on dieting for those two weeks. Like drinking Protein drinks and eating lean meats. They said I was too small for a pre op diet but I want to kind of be used to small meals and drinking a lot. Until then im trying to make better choices when there's an option. Yayyyy. I won't have a date for a little while yet. Congrats!
  5. For me if I'm being completely honest I think I feel it's all I have to offer people to like me. I'm a really good cook and often make stuff for work and family and host every holiday. And other times i'm not feeling good physically and I search for something to go in my mouth that stops that feeling.
  6. I want tinker bell . The image of her seeing her reflection for the first time.
  7. Henderson Nevada! Sleeve surgery will be in July. Dr. Lyass is my Dr. I am 1/2 way through my 6 months required by my insurance. Getting excited.
  8. This year all of our savings went to the irs blssssst. In July I get my surgery and by February next year I'm hoping we will be in good shape for a vacation and that I will have the body to wear cute shorts and suits and we are talking about a cruise!
  9. Love the idea with the pictures awesome! I have a wonderful husband who would love this too. He likes the thigh high nylons with the garter and stuff.
  10. Good one. I love tennis although I'm not good at it lol
  11. Must depend on the insurance. He told me not to drop below 40bmi which is 205lbs for me. I fluctuate from that to 210.
  12. I am having surgery in July. I just how that I am as successful as you are! Wow. You are incredible. Please share your story. Struggles. How you overcame them. Did you track your weight loss monthly? How many calories a day? Sorry for all the questions but you look amazing. Anything you want to share would be great!
  13. Good luck! When's your bypass? You will do great!
  14. How did you stretch your sleeve
  15. I've given up coffee. Sugar. Cigarettes since October. Joined a gym. Gave up white bread and replaced one meal a day with Protein shakes. Also have been drinking 60+ ounces of Water a day. I am making small commitments throughout these 6 months leading up to the sleeve. I mess up of course. But I'm trying.
  16. Well if that's vain I am too. Thing is we're going to lose weight by eating healthy and as a result we will look good. Unavoidable . Oh well guess we will have to look good as we get healthy lol. I'm in month 3 of my 6 month insurance required diet. Probably have surgery mid July. Yayyyy.
  17. Liquid meaning Protein Shakes and water. I could eat chicken too. Yummy
  18. Thanks for the tip! I will. I've been drinking nothing but Water and trying to get as much research as possible before the big day . Quit smoking in October . Small things.
  19. Every time I ask a question should I be doing________(whatever) they tell me I'm not big enough. Like at my last appointment I asked will I be doing a liquid diet a week or so before surgery? Response" you're not big enough" once I get my final weigh in submitted to insurance and they approve me I am going to do a week long liquids diet. At least a few days. Im border line bmi right at 40bmi. I want to have an easier surgery and recovery and from what I've read it seems like those who do a pre op diet fair better in recovery process. What do you all think?
  20. Wow you got it all done! Way to go! I would've been done but I had gallbladder surgery and I can't do the blood work until 2 months prior at the very soonest because it's only good for 2 months.
  21. I'm going to go to the water park in Vegas in a cute bathing suit! I can't wait to be able to walk around in a suit in public and not feel the way I do now! A shopping spree is also in the plans. New clothes that I'd never wear today!
  22. Thank you for sharing! Wow you are an inspiration! You look Fantabulous!
