I was banded in 2005 and have been taking biotin ever since....i am natural for 18months and now take BIOTIN and MSM pills to help promote healthy hair, i was told yu have to get at least 5000mg of biotin to work succesfully..i am waiting on sleeve approval and I will see if any shed after the surgery....team long healthy hair!!

Wow i never heard that b4....i went from 18/20 to 8/10 my first year with lapband excercise 5-7days a week...i am currently 14/16 waiting on VSG...we have to all excercise and watch what we eat even if its a small quantity!! My gf went from 18/20 to a sz 4 with the lapband she is now a sz 6 she is also African American we both banded in 2005..... Good luck black divas lets all be losers slow or fast!!!

Hi i had the lapband in 2005 and lost 70 pounds my arms sagged but as time went on they tighten up...im not sure how that happens maybe the weight came off too fast but other than that the rest of my body was fine an the only excercise i did was walk 7 days a week
