Hi - my eval was very simple about 20 questions, no psych tests. During the discussion, I must have voiced my hesitation on being able to be successful. She recommended additional therapy which I agreed to do and I'm so glad I did. I'm going to continue with my therapist after surgery-she is wonderful.

Hello Sixtiers! Thank you Living Free for bringing this forum to my attention. I'm 62 with diabetes insulin dependent, HP, knee problems. I'm scheduled for the sleeve on June 24 and going through all the emotions everyone does. I know the weight isn't going to be as fast as if I was 30 but just pray there aren't complications and that I lose the weight and it stays away!! Keep posting everyone so we can help each other with our new journey

Hi I'm 62 years young and scheduled for VSG on June 24. Wondering how it has been for others this age! Problems with recovery, skin, metabolism, etc. Right now I have very very few wrinkles but worried that once I lose my chubbiness they'll appear! Would love to hear from others

Exactly how I feel! I'm scheduled for June 24! I'm worried about 4 weeks without food! I just keep saying it is only 1 month and think how healthy I'll feel and I KNOW I can do it!! Wishing the best .

I read someplace to use a lotion with vitamin E and keratin. I haven't looked yet so not able to give you a brand name.
