  1. Congrats on your success - I was sleeved a month or so later. I also had a terrible and long stall at about 6 months. Of course it makes us frustrated and so i was less vigilant about getting enough Water and staying away from chocolate once that stall hit three weeks! Then back on track and started losing again, though more slowly now too.

As for Water and food - STOP! If you can anyway. It makes a huge difference for many of us. Be sure not to have a glass at your place, or if in a restaurant have the waiter take it away. I know it's more pleasant, but try try to shift away. I find drinking a big glass before my mean (and waiting 5 minutes or so) helps me be less desperately thirsty during the meal too.

Good luck - and i hope those last pounds come off soon!

Thank you for sharing???? I'm going to try to break my drinking with meal habit, the glass of water before makes sense I'll try it out ???? thank you

  2. @@ArixS I'm 10 months out today and from last month to this month I've only lost 4 pounds at least it's still coming off I think it's slowing down because I'm 30lbs away from goal just keep doing what you have been it'll come off!

Yea past months I've lost 6 pounds it's slowed down. I'm 10 pounds away from goal. Like I said I'd be happy at 165 but my goal was 155 so I feel like I need to get there. Hope that makes sense ????

  3. Hey, my surgery was the day after yours!! I started at 341 (313 day of surgery) and am 212 today so i can't complain! I have experienced much less weight loss the past month or two but I have also noticed I've let a few bad habits slip back in. I've slacked a bit on counting my calories, gone to several holiday gatherings full of junk food and I'm not as good about waiting for long enough to drink after I eat although I'm not drinking nearly the amount of Water I should. If I pick the good habits back up I have no doubt the weight loss will start again although still slowly after such a rapid loss. I wonder if it is about this time post surgery that people start feeling invincible and like they'll lose weight no matter what.

You know some thing happen to me with thanksgiving and all. And yes I've let bad habits creep up i been really starting to watch what I eat. I'm about to start my period too so maybe that's it. I have a bad habit of drinking water with my food I always been the type to drink with food every bite idk how to stop that. Ty for sharing

  4. I started my journey March 18,2014 and it's been a great one best decisions I ever made. I stated at 280 and I'm now at 165. This is the first month I haven't lost any weight. My question is does it look like or sound like something that's happen to any of you? Is this he end of my weight loss? Overall I'm very happy and wouldn't bother me. But just thought I'd ask:)

  5. Your measurements are the same as mine- exactly! Congrats on your loss! I was always wondering roughly what to look forward to but I haven't seen anyone so far with the similar height and weight. My surgery is 12/15 and I cannot wait to get it done and get my life back

It's the best thing ever your gonna be so happy good luck

  6. Never thought about size I always look at the weight. I'm 5'4 was 280 size 22-24 2x CW-165 size 10 and medium top going to be 9 months post op18th of this month. My goal weight is to be 155 but everyone tells me I look to thin now which makes me laugh

  7. Idk it comes and go's not gonna lie I have chips and crap I shouldn't eat sometimes I usually eat clean all week and weekends I treat myself. I'll have a spoon of Pasta a bite of bread I don't deprive myself but sometimes I get on strict mode and I think that's fine too. With sweet sometimes I'll have some and sometimes sugar free or just none. I'm going on 9months out 115 down 10 pounds to go Sw-280. Obviously I'm doing something right. Size of my stomach still feels tiny I can eat 2 chicken nuggets max and maybe half a slice of medium thin crust pizza, just so you get an idea. Good luck:)

  8. I was sleeved on march 24th. I am now on puréed stage And I go for my 3 week post op appointment in the morning. I'm just wondering if anyone else out there like me feels like they are insanely thirsty? I can literally drink a whole bottle of Water 16.9oz in 30 minutes maybe less. I know they say to drink drink drink but is this normal?? I definitely get my water intake daily, but so far today I've only had one Protein Shake and I finished that within 20 minutes... Just kinda concerned!

Yea it's normal one of my friends just got surgery too and she was telling me the same thing. I personally wish I had that problem I only drink 20oz of crystal light a day it's hard drinking more

  9. The form of Vitamin is more related to what you can swallow. chewable and Gummy forms are designed to be absorbed easier and so they are recommended for the most WLS patients. You can try the tablet form and if able to swallow them without any stomach upset, your next step is to see if your labs show you are absorbing them (it takes a few months to see any change in the labs) As always, check with your physician.

So you can start on these soon after?

    Thank you for your response

  10. So I'll be a month out next week and have only been able to work out 30min on the treadmill 3xs a week. Well today I finally did a hour on the tread I'm so happy sounds so dumb but I feel so accomplished! Gives me hope that with bumping up my time I'll get out of my stall. for anyone reading this what kind of work outs would you recommend when not being able to lift? Or do you recommend a work out DVD that's worked for you?

  11. Surprised your Dr allowed the potatoes...total carb and no redeeming qualities... but anyway... hopefully you are weighing yourself only once a week, the first weeks after surgery it comes off slower, I think because of the stuff in your system, you should see a drop SOON good luck

Yea they did but I'm gonna stop doing the mash potatoes I don't even enjoy eating it feels to heavy. We'll I hope your right I see all these people on here losing so much more and I just don't get it. Thank you btw I think I'm gonna buy some unflavored Protein maybe that will help.

  12. I got sleeved march 18th I'm almost a month out and I'm only down 15 pounds mind you a lot of that was the first week out. I had posted on here before regarding my stall felt better but now I'm just so depressed. I drink two Proteins a day a Greek yogurt and 20oz of crystal light a day. So that equals out to 50g of Protein a day. Sometimes a have a little mash potatoes but can't handle it to well seems heavy.

  13. Hi! I am just a little over a month out and I am not losing weight! I am following the dr instructions and I am staying in the same spot and even went up a pound!! I am so upset and starting to regret even having the surgery. Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks!
