Just relax. It will be a long day but it will go fast. You are entering a whole new and wonderful stage of your life.

I am doing St. Alexis in Hoffman Estates on the 28th. I figured both hospitals are about the same with a slightly different names so I took the first available. I typically work with Northwest University Hospital but I wanted something close to home which is why I chose the Kane Center. I have my Pre-op testing next Thursday. I am curios on what is involved for this appointment. How brutal was it?
The appointment was easy. They weighed me, per usual, reviewed my medical history, asked a bunch of questions and I was out in less than 30 min. If you have any issue like high blood pressure, diabetics, etc. expect them to prob on those.
I grew up in Schaumburg and know St. Alexis well. I remember when it was built, called Hoffman Estates Medical Center back then.
Best of luck.

I have a desk job, in fact, I work from home. I started some work today, 3 days after surgery (don't tell my doctor) and I plan to go back full time on Monday, after one week. My case is unique, working at him changes everything.

I told my wife and oldest child, like you I didn't trust my 6 year-old. No one else knows.
