Your Dr should give you a list of the brands he/she wants you to use. Mine included Isopure Low carb, Unjury, EAS myoplex low carb.

what shakes do you love? I'm on pre-op shakes and I just chug them just to get them down-yuck...

Well, I start my two-week pre op Monday and I have some expensive pagne in the wine fridge. Since it will be quite some time before I even look in the general direction of the wine fridge, having a little party to empty those shelves.... I have my Protein powder, just need to work out my "eating" schedule for Monday at work. Surgery on the 30th-can't wait! Have a good weekend all! R

Bufflehead-this is exactly what I'm wondering about. I'm pre-op. I don't drink alcohol "alot", but love champagne. I know carbonation is bad and understand why. What are the "rules" around wine etc. down the line post op? Thanks.

If I know I'm self pay, what is the average amount of time between the first consult meeting and the surgery? Just trying to get a realistic expecation of when the surgery could take place. Thanks!
