  1. Yes!!! Believe me you made me laugh and cry that day at the same damn time and walked me off the ledge. Thanks again ????
  2. I bought them from the vitamin shoppe. However amazon sells them and I believe gnc. I just went with whoever had the best sale. Trust me you won't be sorry. My tween even wants to drink them now.
  3. The same thing happened to me. I chalked it up to the surgery. I didn't seem a cause for alarm. Our body maybe in shock from the trauma. I've had my IUD for 4 years.
  4. I can honestly say that I finally feel like myself. So week #3 should be good for you. Incisions are healed and almost faded away, no pain meds and no gas pain. If I had to I could go back to work now. But I took the max my company would pay me for which is 6 weeks. I get lightheaded every once in a blue but that's how I know I need to eat. I just started oh yeah shakes and they are wonderful. They taste like a McDonald's shake and I will never steer you wrong with food. They have a 4 grams of sugar and are 200 calories but worth every ounce. Try one you can buy them individually. We've been through so much we should at least be able to have something besides BROTH
  5. 3 weeks post op and doing great. With the exception of not knowing how to eat slowly. It's a mind thing. I'm down 20 so far but I have a long way to go. I just started to get reflux and I'm going to try some over the counter meds. The pain is gone and the gasx strips knocks out the gas pain. Trying to get use to all the noises that my new tummy makes lol
  6. I'm having the same issue and was sleeved 2/10. Going to see the doctor this Thursday. I'm going to ask for zegrid and see what happens.
  7. You guys have just motivated the crap out of me. I'm getting up now and going walking. Keep up the good work. 3 weeks post-op trying to move mountains.
  8. I agree with sassy pants. Seek assistance. You can beat this. Good luck
  9. I'm 2.5 weeks post op and was having the same issue this week. My md had me eat at the office. I simply don't know how to gauge myself yet. We have to train ourselves to eat and drink all over again. I was drinking and eating too fast even after slowing down it was still to fast. I was also taking in too much. Just had it all wrong. Now I count to 100 when chewing. I know it sounds crazy but until I get it right. I also bought a camelback water bottle. It kind of restricts how much you can drink in one gulp. Those two things have helped.
  10. Thank you I'm doing that now, hopefully this too will pass soon

I must say that this has been the first time that I have ever read or experienced any back in the day bigotry. That comment was completely unnecessary. This is 2014 where clearly we type without thinking. I suppose the person that made the comment would have been offended if it was made to them in regards to their race. Better if the post was just deleted. And for the record I well educated, a RN and raised in NY and now live in the south. The only time I've heard that term used was with "redneck hillbillies". Now getting back to the question. Please eat healthy snacks when you get the munchies. If there's any negative replies don't waste your time.
  12. I think where you are at looks great also you go girl! The main person that needs to be happy is número UNO "you"!
  13. 5 days post op and I'm drinking sugar free white cranberry juice, sugar free lemon sherbet (the best) and stained chicken noodle soup. I also strained crab soup which was great flavor. I can't stand the protein either. But I'm trying to get a variety of liquid so that I'm not dehydrated. The back pain is the worse right now and I can't stomach the pain meds
  14. Anybody experience back pain? I'm post op day 5
  15. Anybody have bad back pain? I'm 5 days post op
  16. I'm at day 5 also and feel the same. It's part of the healing process. I just had sugar free lemon sherbet and it was the best. I strain chicken noodle soup to get the better tasting broth and it seems to help. The first week we just want to concentrate on not getting dehydrated
