  1. Congrats! My baby is 7 weeks old. I never got an unfill and still gained a lot of weight. My doctor suggested a unfill only if I was getting morning sickness. Plus my weight gain is my own fault, I ate what I wanted and I am currently working on getting back on track now. Good luck and I am so happy for you.

  2. Congrats by the way! I am currently almost 10 weeks pregnant and I have only had the band for 6 months. Before I knew I was pregnant I didn't know what was wrong because my band was so tight. Mine usually got tight before I started each month and figured that was it. My lapband doctor said everything was fine for me, and to stay the way I am unless I am vomiting. Since you mentioned you get sick you might want to make an appointment with you lapband doctor and go from there. To help me get my nutrients I drink a V8 everyday. Good luck so I am not much help.

  3. I am going to start this as well. Since I am coming in late this week. I am doing it today, and then start on Monday again. So Monday and Wednesdays will be my days. The hard part will be no coffee for me in the morning on those days. I have been stuck at the same weight for around over month now and need something to kick start me. Good luck to everyone.

  5. Welcome. Your story sounds similar to mine. I have always had a hard time losing weight and I was finally diagnosed with PCOS. They told me the meds would help me loss weight but I gained. When I went back and asked they said you are probably one of the few that can gain weight with the meds. Nice is what I thought. Then the doctor recommended the lapband and it has changed my life. I started this journey at 249 and this morning I weighed in at 195. Also I know some may not want to hear this but my cycle is normal. The person I am today is not the same person I was 6 months ago. I am just so happy everyday. Good luck to you and whatever journey you take. This site is wonderful and has many helpful friends.

  6. 35 Pounds that is Awesome! You are doing great. Everyone losses differently so please do not compare yourself to others. That will only bring you down. If you really feel that you are losing slower than maybe add more to workout. Just keep up the good work, you will get there.

  7. Like 2muchfun said, every doctor is different. So please follow your doctors requirements. I was told by my doctor to not drink during eating and try to go 30 minutes after eating without drinking. I am not going to lie it was hard to get use to. I use to drink a whole drink while eating before surgery. I am sure you will do great.

  8. @@CarmenLeAn, I would ask the doctor. I know some days I feel tighter than others but then it goes away. For me I have noticed if I am stressed with something I feel tight as well, but can still eat.

@planningband07 please make sure you are following directions from the doctor. I was able to eat soft foods on week 3. My doctor stated carbs are a big no no. So just please be careful. I have not had bread or tortillas since before surgery.
