I would like to stay connected as well. Surgery date is 9/17/14. While very nervous, I am also excited and ready for my new life to begin. My Doc has not pt me on a liquid diet before, hummm. My friend said she only had to do a liquid diet a day before. I guess each Doctor is different. God luck everyone, Let's stay connected! I'm in San Francisco area.

Hi all, I've been up and down and changed my mind several times and I've finally surrendered to having the gastric sleeve surgery. I no longer feel scared or hesitant. I feel excited and I can't wait to have a new me. I realize this is not a solution to my weight problem but it is however a life tool. I so appreciate any support or words of advise especially with the Vitamins which are dreaming me out. Thank you everyone.

I all, very nervous my surgery is in a few days. I have been debating this surgery for 5 years. I want to do this whole process the right way. I'm giving this surgery to myself for my 54th Birthday. I'm really scared . I have never gone on a liquid diet ever. I look forward to food. The unknown scares me but, I am ready to start living.
