Bored with broth ????
When do you move up? I'm full liquids with a little purée thrown in till Friday. Then full on purée. I bought Lipton noodle soup and drink that broth. It has a different flavor and the noodles sink so no worries there. Jello? My husband made some the other day for his son that has evaporated milk in it to make it creamy. I didn't have any but they thought it was good.

Lol I have gotten on everyday! Some days I was a bit higher than the previous day. But all in all it's been a downward slope. I would have asked them to buy a scale. I just had to know lol.

Thanks! I haven't started working out yet. But I do walk....a lot. Maybe I'll try some of those higher calorie protein drinks. Good idea, thanks!

Down 31 lbs! Surgery 4/21/14
OMg, I'm shocked! But on the other hand, when your only ingesting a few hundred calories a day it's inevitable, right? How do some of you get in 1000 or more?

Oh wow....I can still feel it 1/2 hr later. This sucks. Maybe I'll just wait to get hungry to eat. I'm trying to do 3 meals and 2 snacks.

Only couple bites and done
I take a few baby spoons of liquid food ( pears in the blender with the pear juice today) and it feels like I'm done. Is it possible to get that squeezing after just that?

Do any of you have a medical alert bracelet? I think I read somewhere that this is important after bariatric surgery. Thoughts?

Ugh...cant get it in
I am having a heck of a time trying to get food in. 1 wk post op yesterday and cant seem to take in much. The protein shakes give me incredible diarrhea, so I've been trying yogurt. The issue, I can only get maybe 2 oz in before I get horrible chest pain. I wish protein came in a pill!

Hardest thing for you?
I agree 100% about enjoying the flavor then being done. That is what is bothering me today

What do your incisions look like?
I'm a week out today too! Funny how far you can come in such a short time. As for the scars, I had 4 csections so these are just more to add.

Can too much water in a short period of time stretch your pouch?
I just woke up and consumed, while not thinking about it, 22 oz of water in a relatively short time (20-30 min). No food yet though. Now I'm paranoid! Did I stretch my pouch? On the other side, wow I can't believe that at 1 wk post op I could drink so much so fast! Last week it took me half the afternoon for that!
