Oh man, the bariatric fusion stuff is nasty! I had it fir the first tine yesterday and had to gag it down.

My headaches are unreal. I think I need to up the h2o too. I'll try that today. I'm on day 2 of 10.

The 21st here! I am on day 2 preop liquid and have a headache that won't quit. I am super excited!!! Good luck to you all

Okay ladies and gents, I am just back from target (for the 2nd time today) and those EAS AdvantEdge Carb Control ready made shakes are on sale for $4.49. They have 17g Protein and 100-110 calories per container. I had a dark chocolate for dinner and it was ( for a protein shake) GOOD! I also had an unjury chocolate splendor for lunch today and it was good too. The Bariatric fusion I had this morning made me want to cry. GROSS! I had some egg drop Soup for a snack and some raw baby carrots. Those are not allowed but it was either that or kill someone. I figure how bad can those carrots be?? Ps- I am a nursing student and need the ability to take my protein with me anywhere. Which is my reasoning for buying ready to drink. Otherwise, I'd be powder all the way.

I really needed to see this thread right now. I'm on day one of my preop liquid diet and feel like crap. My head hurts, my body is starving and these bariatric fusion shakes are disgusting. I feel like crying. Luckily I have a very supportive family who wants to help in any way. Hopefully I don't make them all hate me this week.

I start day one of ten liquid today. I'm freaking a bit!

I was told yesterday at my preop appt that I needed to go off my bc pills. Super! Next week I will be on my liquid diet AND get my period. Ugh

I'm on the 21st too! Starting my liquids tomorrow. Really really nervousness about only that.

I had all my pre op testing done today, saw the dr., and had my last nutrition appt! Starting my 10 day liquid diet Saturday. Omg, it's almost time!

I am the same way right now. Eating my favorites! I'm not nervous which is unusual for me. Just excited to finally get this done. I got the sample sets from Bariatric fusion and unjury. I did get a big chocolate, unflavored and chicken soup from unjury too. God I hope they are good. They were expensive!

My surgery is on April 21st. Yours?

Have read about having a good bariatric chewable multivitamin and the need for calcium citrate ( got the Caltrate mini pills). I have heard some take b12, but how much? Anything else?

I start my liquid diet on Friday for surgery on the 21st. This is my food funeral. Portuguese pichadinos Flank stuffed with spinach and feta Prosciutto wrapped chicken breast Not sure what to make the other 2 days. Maybe pizza and Chinese.

I did tell them is wasn't anything serious. I had the same cancer thought as you.

I am choosing not to tell my 5 kids ages 18,15,11,10 and 10. I did tell them that I am having surgery for my something with my stomach and one of the perks is weight loss. That's it. I never came out and said WLS. My classmates know and some are encouraging me to tell them and others agree with me about not telling them. Maybe someday I will.. Just not yet.

Woohoo! All scheduled for the 21st! Got my approval in 1 day. Pre op blood work on the 10th and start my liquid diet on the 11th. Omg this is really happening!

Can I sip these pre op? They are really thin like a broth with few teeny noodles.

Guess what?!? The medical supply called this morning and thanks to your advice I went there to get it. Woohoo! Just waiting for the pulmonologist to call me back w an appt.

Just left the pulmonologist and they have to order my cpap, get approval and have it set up in the next week and a half or no surgery on the 21st please send me positive thoughts that this can and will happen....

I have been taking centrum for years. However I just realized how big those pills are and that they may not be recommended after surgery. What kind are suggested?

Thanks guys! I am waiting on my approval and will hopefully get in on April 21. I got my unjury stuff today so at least I'm prepared for my 10 day preop. How do you mix the chicken soup with water and cream of chicken. Equal parts?any way to jazz it up w/o the cream soup?

What a combination! Anyway going to the pulm dr tomorrow for my sleep study follow up. Got a call from my surgeons office this am to see if I have a cpap machine since my report said that I have severe obstructive sleep apnea. Although I am not surprised by this, I'm kinda freaked out hearing it.
