  1. That's 240 calories and 11 grams of sugar with only 12 grams of protein.
  2. Breakfast. Usually Protein shake. Sometimes a Greek yogurt with flax 9 grain Cereal. lunch. Quest bar (after workout ) or cottage cheese with fruit. dinner. I make batches of different Soups. Like chili. Beef stew. chicken taco soup and make small individual servings that I have in the freezer. I take one to work for supper. Snacks. Pistachios. SF Popsicles. String cheese. Jerky.
  3. Fishy!! Just because they charge the insurance company 50,000. Don't they usually discount that to their contracted amount?? You know darn well the insurance company wouldn't pay that much!!
  4. I called my doc so they would know that a fax was coming. They signed it right away. It didn't take too long. But I can't remember how long.
  5. Unfortunately I work in the evenings. I would love to try it!
  6. One week. But I only walked around the track. Wanted to keep up the habit if going. Doctor would not release me to strength train for 6 weeks.

  10. I can totally relate!! My husband is in the same health condition (but no diabetes). He eats total crap!! I hope his lightbulb moment comes soon!!
  11. My surgery went very well. I did have a rough first week, trying to get my fluids in, but once I forced myself to drink 1 ounce every 15 minutes for 2 days, it got easier. I wish you the best!! It's nice to have other fellow Nebraskans on here, I have not found too many!!!

  13. I just started wearing the Genie Bras , I get them at walmart. They are very comfortable and inexpensive. I got it to fit snug so it will last longer!!

  21. that sucks!! You could get hand weights or bands and work on your upper body. Any exercise is better than none! Good luck with your healing!
  22. Not nuts!!! Kudos for keeping it up! I am still not comfortable getting down on the floor. One of these days i will get over that fear. Fear of not being able to get back up, let alone doing exercises with a trainer and then trying to "gracefully" pull myself off the floor!
